FeBoer searched the shopping plaza thinking maybe the two potential buyers wanted a better look at #Bosma's truck in the streetlights.

DeBoer called his mom, who worked at Sarnia Police, for advice. She told him if it was out of character for #TimBosma, "phone police imdtly"

Then, Sharlene left to check a pub in Ancaster, while De Boer stayed at the house to watch the couple's daughter.
by Adam Carter 1:16 PM

“At one point her daughter had woken up and she was crying, and I wasn’t sure what worked to calm her down,” De Boer says. So he called Sharlene to ask.
by Adam Carter 1:17 PM

This was around 12:17 a.m. while Sharlene was checking to see if Tim was at the bar.

Sharlene called police to report #TimBosma missing, then checked a local pub just in case. Nothing.

We heard same story from Sharlene #Bosma yesterday. This is the Crown building credibility of witnesses. A cohesive narrative.

Accused killer Dellen Millard stared at Bosma widow from time she left the witness stand to the courtroom door, spinning round in his chair.

To her credit, Sharlene Bosma stared right back at Millard. She was a courageous, honest witness whose testimony evoked laughter and tears.

Tweets from yesterday, hadn't seen these.

I heard this on the radio on the way home but didn't post because I couldn't find the reporter's tweets. It was on CFRB1010. The reporter said he held eye contact with her while spinning in his chair to follow her.... with a big smile on his face the whole time. Unbelievable.

De Boer on Bosma's character: "He was a generous person in all areas of his life as far as I could tell in relation how he treated his friends and his family."
by Adam Carter 1:20 PM

She said she was waiting for the police at the pub and they were going to come back with her to the home.

DeBoer says he knew #TimBosma for a while by that time. Describes him as "very generous...Opened his home and life" to him. Loved his family

Renting #Bosma basement, DeBoer could sometimes hear family interactions. Describes TB playing with kid, laughing.

Mark Carcasole ‏@MarkCarcGlobal 21s22 seconds ago
DeBoer asked if he's ever seen #TimBosma violent, lose temper. "No." Crown also asked Sharlene this. Potentially lining up against defence.

Reading that made my blood boil.

De Boer says he could sometimes hear him coming home through the floorboards and playing with his daughter - hearing laughter. “He was very affectionate towards his family,” he says.

#Millard lawyer now cross examining DeBoer..

Mark Carcasole ‏@MarkCarcGlobal 24s25 seconds ago
#Millard lawyer Ravin Pillay asking DeBoer how many cars in #TimBosma's garage at time DeBoer came home May 6. One car.

Mark Carcasole ‏@MarkCarcGlobal 7s8 seconds ago
#Millard lawyer Pillay continue to ask DeBoer about garage. How many lights? Now asking about moment two men walked up driveway.

Mark Carcasole ‏@MarkCarcGlobal 38s39 seconds ago
DeBoer confirms to Pillay he was "visible to them," could hear their conversation with #TimBosma.

Pillay going back over the description De Boer gave yesterday - slim, with an athletic build, not in baggy clothing.
by Adam Carter 1:24 PM

De Boer says he could see both men that came that night, and that they most likely would have been able to see him.
by Adam Carter 1:23 PM

Pillay is now cross examining. Asking about the layout, lighting and cars in the driveway on the night of the test drive.

This is in regards to the man referred to as "cell phone guy," who seemed to be leading the transaction.

#Millard lawyer going back over DeBoer's testimony about taller man. WD continuously confirming "Yes. Yes. Yes."

Mark Carcasole ‏@MarkCarcGlobal 20s20 seconds ago
DeBoer can't remember exactly what the taller man, was wearing.

Mark Carcasole ‏@MarkCarcGlobal 7s7 seconds ago
Pillay confirming with DeBoer the taller man was well-groomed, made eye contact, was social, didn't seem to be hiding anything.

“He sort of instilled trust in you. You felt comfortable with him, right?” – Pillay says about the way De Boer described the man with the cell phone. “He didn’t instil any fear or anything like that, no,” De Boer says.

#Millard lawyer Pillay asks DeBoer if taller man "instilled trust" in him. WD says "he didn't instill fear." Earlier used term "trustworthy"

Mark Carcasole ‏@MarkCarcGlobal 1m1 minute ago
Talking about "second guy" now. Pillay has DeBoer confirm he was quieter, stood back from group.

Mark Carcasole ‏@MarkCarcGlobal 13s13 seconds ago
#Millard lawyer being very sure to have DeBoer note second man's hoodie covered a portion of his face.

The second man, court is hearing, was hanging back and staying in a darker area with a red hoodie with the hood up. He could barely see his hair, couldn't tell what style or length it was. Hoodie was also covering a portion of his face -- "a little over half of his face," De Boer says.

Re the earlier discussion about today's late start because of one of the accused's medical issue:

Peter Akman ‏@PeterAkmanCTV 24m24 minutes ago
Court delayed today #DellenMillard "sick". Another appt Friday "Mr MIllard does not want his med sit to interrupt the trial." @CTVNews

Mark Carcasole ‏@MarkCarcGlobal 2m2 minutes ago
#Millard lawyer Pillay reads DeBoer's statement to police where he mentions he could only see a quarter of smaller man's face.

Mark Carcasole ‏@MarkCarcGlobal 54s54 seconds ago
#Millard lawyer Pillay has DeBoer confirm smaller man also had his body turned away from group, not allowing his face to be seen clearly.

Mark Carcasole ‏@MarkCarcGlobal 46s47 seconds ago
Pillay seems to be building a narrative that shows taller man (#Millard) was open, not hiding anything. Other guy (#Smich) was sketchy.
