Time last seen as communicated out varies quite a bit as you can see from the below. And IMO, I think range possibility may be different – I think something may have happened to Bob between Sunday evening, July 26th and the morning of Monday, July 27th (just personal speculation from info available).

1. 11:00AM, Mon, Jul 27th – Placentia Police Department website (July 30th)

just fyi:
WS astrologers only work from time that is verified.
Such as, time missing reports filed, time last seen,
time found, that kind of thing.

Police records can be used, eyewitness testimony can be used,
phone records can be used, etc.

Thanks for the information.

The only verification of the last known time that BH was alive which comes from a source other than one of his daughters or the SIL is from the neighbor who saw him on Sat. and Fontelle who spoke to him Sunday evening.

I would still like to know where the 2:00 is coming from.

Are people changing their timeline to fit the evidence such as the Home Depot receipt?

Robert Harrod, 81 yrs old, bad knees, has gone missing, July 27,2009.
His wife is deceased.
He has a friend, 45 yrs old, whom he has given money to or loaned money to
and/or bought gifts for in the previous 18 months.
He has a new wife, someone who he had talked with by phone for six weeks
and saw for 3 days before marrying her.
He has grown children.

In news videos, he seemed very happy after his marriage.
His children have stated they were very happy for him.
His 45 yr old friend supposedly continued to call him
and ask for money.

Then, on a Monday, July 27, his son in law is over helping
do minor repairs around his house.
His new wife was arriving back in town on July 29.
He wanted the house all ready for her.

The son in law was in and out of the house doing errands.
The housecleaner was set to arrive in the afternoon.
While the son in law was gone on one of those errands,
Robert Harrod disappeared.
At first, it was thought he had gone for a walk.
But as night came, it was apparent he was not back home.

He has not been seen since.

Robert has not been found wandering the streets, victim of a possible stroke.
Robert has not been found, victim of a car accident or seizure.
Robert has not been found.
His car is at his house.

Did someone stop by the house?
Take Robert for a ride?

Thanks for the information.

To the best of my knowledge, yes.

Yes, thanks, I read all of that. I’m not talking about how they get the information to do their charts, and I’m comfortable with the time the missing report was filed if it comes from a police report log. I have a basic problem with the inconsistencies regarding the “time last seen,” the supposed sequence of events on July 27, and the source(s) of the information.

IMO, the “eyewitness testimony” is questionable. We have time last seen as either 11:00, 11:00-12:00, 1:30, or 2:00. If time last seen is now being put forth as 2:00, that’s a problem because IMO, I believe it conflicts with what the police were initially told and what one of the family members posted 2 weeks after Bob went missing on another forum.

Re phone records. There could very well be a phone record put forth that for instance, shows a 5 min call from House A to Bob’s house at 11:30 (speculation). But we don’t know if the person in House A was really speaking to Bob or the BIL/SIL.

So, the time last seen is still an open question in my mind and there are problems with the timeline and sequence of events changing like this. It doesn't sit right with me.

So he could have gone missing as early as Sunday.

I'd like to know what was bought at Home Depot.

Vanished: Millionaire newlywed, 81, still missing

From the article .... Michaels told police he left the house for Home Depot to buy supplies around 2:30 p.m., and time stamped-receipts bear him out, Loomis said.

About 2:30 p.m. was the last time anyone says they saw Bob Harrod.

I am so glad that OC Register wrote this article.
Interesting last two sentences that the Chief of Police had to say.
'snipped'
Chief Anderson was cryptic in his responses during an interview about the future of the investigation.
"I don't want to show my hand to you," he said. "We have a couple of ongoing roads we're going to go down. I don't want to alert possible suspects. We have nothing to focus on directly yet."

Thank you for all the outstanding time-lines and summaries! All the changes in 'last time seen' sends red flags...wonder what his family trust looks like, was he about to change it? How about his insurance policies? Wonder if he was recently in touch with his lawyer or did he have an appointment?

Either he fought in the war or didn't, memory problems or is someone lying? The woman who keept borrowing money - I hope her home has been checked.

Family trust: From what I understand, it was a family trust set up years ago by Robert H and his wife.
The trust cannot be touched.
It is handled through the court system.
Robert Harrod's daughters had to petition the court to open the trust
to have his home expenses paid, as well as have money
to authorize a reward. They were denied. New court date in Nov.

Insurance policies:
I think the news article said Robert planned to make changes on bank accounts, but had not.

Lawyer: I don't know.

War: From all I have read, Robert did not goto Korea, but was in the military and served at a military base in CA.
From all I have read, Fontelle said that Robert H, her fiance from 60 years did go to Korea, but her letters to him were returned.

Woman who kept borrowing money:
News article said that police had cleared both she and her husband.

According to the daughter.......she and her sisters went to the house to get copies of the will on the Sunday before their dad went missing. She then says some disparaging things about her father to the reporter.

Doesn't sound like they were happy about their dad's marriage. They seem to have money on their minds.

I'm curious how long Bob's finances were an issue with the Daughters. Right after their Mother passed away, maybe? I may have just missed it before, but this is the first I have heard that Bob is a multi-millionaire.
