#BREAKING Arraignment for kidnap suspect Tobias Summers scheduled to take place at 130p today in San Fernando.

Baja police took him into custody Wednesday morning at a nearby beach, where he was working with a woman selling coconuts to tourists.

Police were able to identify the suspect because of a "Superman" tattoo on his chest (pictured, below).

SERIOUSLY?!?!?! i was at that very beach last weekend, Saturday! i passed by all of the coconut stands and didnt see him... but he very well could have been in the back of one of the stands... if he was even there at the time. we actually bought a cup of fresh mango from one of the coconut stands... i KNOW he wasn't at that one tho. YIKES!!

ya'll have no idea how annoyed i am to know that i could have possibly walked within a few feet of $25k!!! of course i really REALLY want this <person> to be brought to justice... the $25k would have come in very handy... mama needs a new car & has a baby on the way! lol

ok, back to kicking myself i go. that'll teach me for not looking at each and every single person i walk by... and not looking inside of small businesses for this dude. he could have been anywhere in baja, and he was THAT close to me.

Well, I for one am GLAD you didn't get anywhere near Scummers--he's a dangerous person and we can't do without you!

I would way rather have Mamacita being safe! :hug:

Anyway... If she had gotten the reward... She would be rich and famous... And not want to hang with the likes of me anymore... :what:

ORRRRRRRRR he could have been right next to me and hurt me because i let my guard down! he probably would have too because once i realized it was him i probably would have given him the stink eye.
 
ok guys, in all seriousness... i keep playing the scene when we were walking by all of the coconut stands in my head. one thing that stands out to me is that there were MANY women running these stands. granted there were men at some of them too... but what was also at just about every stand was a child, there with a working parent. i remember one younger woman in particular that had a young girl that was just a little older than my daughter... she was probably 5? 6? she was standing in front of her stand, letting people that walked by know what all she had for sale. there was a couple who wanted to buy, so she walked back around the back to go back inside her stand and make them what they were ordering. TS COULD have been in there, but i was too focused on paying attention to the lady and my daughter was interested in playing with her daughter. we kept walking and came upon another stand, where we placed our order. there was an older woman working there with another woman who was probably in her early 20s. there was also a man, who i assume was the woman's husband, who was arranging a place for us to sit and eat what we ordered. tobias was NOT at that stand.

it just really ticks me off that he was there, among such hard working and unsuspecting people... many of whom were women and children. he could have done very bad things if he didn't get caught yesterday. i am SO thankful for the person who called in the tip. they've saved many more potential victims. i can't wait to see how this court thing plays out... hopefully it's not the same scenario as the suspect in the Sierra Lamar case.

clue... you are WAY too silly. im a pay it forward kind of girl! we could have done a WS reunion and drinks woulda been on me! *sigh*

ALHAMBRA (CBSLA.com) &#8212; The capture of Northridge kidnapping suspect, Tobias Summers, can be majorly credited to the county&#8217;s new tip line, set up by Los Angeles County&#8217;s Department of Probation.

The line was originally set up to catch criminals who have broken parole after early releases due to prison overcrowding.

Probation Officer Georgina Clink, one of the officers who check the tip line, received a clear message early Wednesday that mentioned Summers&#8217; name...
