"The Banner received a call from investigators a couple weeks back because they wanted to speak with the delivery person for Sonias neighbourhood.
They changed their mind, however, after learning the carrier there is a senior woman. "

http://www.680news.com/news/local/article/264054--police-investigate-homicide-in-campbellfordPolice were called to a Front Street home just before 1:00 p.m. on Saturday where a resident of the Town of Campbellford was found dead by family members, Saturday afternoon.
The grey, 2009 Pontiac G3, 4 door, with a Ontario licence plate of BUSYBEES, was located abandoned in the town.
People living near to the house said the person who lived there was a woman in her 80's but police are not yet releasing the gender or the age of the person who died.
“She went to the Baptist Church here and I believe she started up the Busybees at the church, which is a very good service for the community and helps an awful lot of people.”

Although police can’t speak to the specifics of how it was discovered, they are asking people to contact them with even the slightest information about its whereabouts or occupants from Friday afternoon onward, said Provincial Constable Peter Leon, Central Region media relations officer.
The car is a 2009 gray Pontiac G3 four-door with a personalized Ontario license plate of Busybees.
“With a personalized license plate, Busybees, I think it’s something that would stand out if someone was travelling behind it,” Const. Leon added. “No matter how small the information is, it could be a piece of the puzzle the investigators are looking for.”
“Based on the evidence located at the scene, the determination (of murder) was made fairly quickly,” Const. Leon said, and added he can’t speak to the specifics because of the investigation.
“They are dealing with a complex scene,” Const. Leon said.

"I take the dog out for a walk late at night, (and) the only commotion I saw that night was the guys yelling back and forth at each other, this was in front of our house. I don't know if that has anything to do with her.
"I wish I had paid more attention when I took the dog out for a walk, past her house, early Saturday morning [after midnight], (I'm) wishing I had paid more attention if her car was in the driveway at that time. It's frightening.
Mr. Ellis doesn't believe what happened "was random."
Ms. Ellis agreed. "I think there was some reason they were in there, they were looking for something, why did they have to kill?"
From a bit of Googling I just did, it *seems* like this is the same Constable Peter Leon who was in the SV case. Good! Perhaps now 2 + 2 will start to emerge in these cases.
In all of my years living in Ontario, I've never known of several, separate killers running around this lovely province. In fact, there can't be that many several, separate killers running around in between Vancouver and Halifax!:twocents:
Peter Leon is the Media Relations officer for the OPP Central Region, so that in itself is not an indication that any of cases are related.
