We have no idea what names appear in the redacted text, referred to as “persons of interest”. They do not have to be the clusters of people that we’ve heard allegations about before. Significantly, the redacted text appears to cover more than one name, given the length of the redaction. What is most interesting to me, though, is that these redacted names are clearly *in addition to* the walking man, who is expressly discussed in the next paragraph. This is in line with the theory that there was more than one perpetrator and/or conspirator(s)— which is what KD and many others think. MOO.

This part makes me think Alex G. took a hard look at Barry’s Sherfam investments and possibly advised him about JS’s & AP’s businesses, imo. Alex G. was in that email chain where Barry wrote to AP ‘what will you do and when?’ etc.

In the recent afadavit I noticed Mary S.’s statements are there but not the statements from the heirs or people close to them, but they were in previous afadavits—no idea what that means, if anything.

I haven’t heard of when the Shermans planned to move, but Honey was working with a decluttering team just before the murders and she had donated and given away many things. So maybe they were planning on moving soon? That second home had already been renovated and part of the reason they were moving was to be close to their grandchildren, one had just been born.

I’ve always thought this quote is so troubling. Few would say this about their own parents. A reason to hurt them??

He also said they were useless on their own in his eulogy. I found that to be really insulting and completely inappropriate.

I was curious what a search warrant for a law office would entail, what they would be looking for? Files are all that I can think of you can’t just walk around looking at private and protected files, you have to know what file you want to see. IMO a physical visit is not necessary they could just ask for the files.

I think “Toronto proper” includes North York these days. But the warrant could have been issued for anywhere, including possibly a law firm, subject to arguments of privilege. It isn’t necessarily Sherfam.

Curious would Greenspan law offices be Toronto Proper? one is at #15 Bedford Toronto and another on 144 King street downtown TO.

IMO Goodmans and Blaney have already been involved in the investigation and this warrant seems to have developed from outside Canada.

Greenspan’s office is a really good guess. KD seems to know where the warrant was served but he isn’t saying it. If it’s Greenspan’s office he might be extra careful not to antagonize him because they’ve had issues before.

A new guess: "business partners"? Could fit the number of letters/blank space.
To say "tipsters", when a further redaction should be avoided, is more neutral and makes sense.

Detective Yim redacted the name and statement on page 31, but the name is unredacted and listed in the table of contents. It’s Honey’s massage therapist who worked on Honey that last Wednesday.

KD has already mentioned her, so it’s not a new revelation. She had a massage from 11:30-2:30 that day. Honey’s assistant, SS, said while Honey was getting a massage she was also upstairs close to them, going over work, emails and scheduling with Honey. KD said that Honey had been emailing lawyer DH that last day, so maybe that’s how her statement becomes important to this last warrant. (?)

(Also the date he reviewed the statement is three years after the date he gave for his review of other witness/employee statements.)
