Wonder if this guy has any other properties that maybe more off the grid? Access to a camper? We know so little. I hope she is ok. I'm scared for her.

Even living locally I heard very little about this case. I do remember seeing a missing post on FB a week or so ago, but at that time they had no information about the guy.

I've now seen a little more in MSM, but still not a lot.
 
Anyone find any social media for this creep?
 
I wish this would get as much publicity! I hope she is found soon. :(

Could there possibly be a connection between this case and ET case? Could these men have hooked up online? Does this guy have any SM profiles?
It just seems so odd to have two of these same cases.

The teen also goes by the names Kayla and Finn and is described as part Asian/part Caucasian.
She is 5 ft. 1, 110 lbs, with light skin, and short dyed red hair.

She wears glasses and has piercings in her lip and in the skin above her upper lip.
Police say she is also known to wear wigs and may dress as a male at times.

Steven Bacon is a Caucasian male who is 5 ft. 10, 209 lbs, with a short white buzz cut hairstyle.
He has a thick white goatee that is yellowing, a teardrop tattoo under his left eye and a tattoo on the back of his right hand.

Teardrop tattoo under his left eye. At his age, he probably got it in prison? And this would signify he killed someone, right?
 
I hope they find this girl safe. This guy is no good.

Former Thunder Bay-area resident Steven Michael Bacon, 53, of Nanaimo, may have information to help find Chang.

In Thunder Bay on the front page of The Tims-News on March 30, 1985, it was reported that Bacon was charged by Thunder Bay Ontario Provincial Police with offences including break, enter and theft, armed robbery, forcible confinement, and use of a firearm in the commission of an offence.

Makayla Chang, 16, was last seen in Nanaimo on March 17, and police had been on scene at a Bruce Avenue residence since Wednesday night.

On Thursday, members of the RCMP forensic team, wearing white coveralls, were seen in and around the property, which had tents set up in the backyard.

“Part of the investigation is involving searching various residences where Makayla may have associated or frequented,” O’Brien said Thursday. “So that’s what we’re doing. We’re not confirming whose house it is at this point."

O’Brien said having tents set up is normal for RCMP identification specialists to “take a further look and draw on uncontaminated areas and certain objects,” and it is not uncommon for the forensic team to aid in a search.

We already know the Bruce Ave. residence belongs to Steven "Mike" Bacon.

As far as I can tell he has been relatively transient, i.e. business owners from various cities saying he worked for them for a couple of months up to a couple of years.

I pray they find her, seems like a lot of days passed before they even started looking for her.
