Lianne Elliott:
The CBC's Dave Seglins explains what can be expected today:
Crown prosecutors will resume their detailed review of the evidence in Col. Russell Williams' escalating crime spree, beginning with his sexual assault and confinement of his Tweed neighbour Lxxxxx Mxxxxxxxxx.
Later today, the Crown will examine Williams murder of Cpl. Marie-France Comeau, a woman under his command at CFB Trenton, and his first fatal victim who died of asphyxiation in November 2009. The prosecutors will also detail the abduction, confinement, assault and killing of Jessica Lloyd in late January of 2010.
Tomorrow, Crown prosecutors intend to play more than two hours of police video for the court recordings of Williams interrogation and ultimate confession on Feb. 7 2010.
