Hoskins Mound is right next to Danbury, surrounded by small bodies of water

Jane Doe – Hoskins Mound - She is thought to be 12 to 17 years old, Caucasian Female, death estimated to be around 1975 - November 11, 1980 - HUMAN SKULL FOUND IN HOSKINS MOUND in Brazoria County (Torso, limbs, hands not recovered); Sheriff's Office investigation is currently underway in connection with the weekend discovery of a human skull in the Hoskins Mound area, Sheriff's Office Captain Gene Smith said Monday.

Danbury resident was "working some cattle" in a pasture located near CR 203, approximately one half mile off of FM 2004, when he noticed the skull, according to Smith. Sgt. Harry Stiles of the Investigation Division subsequently recovered the skull, which appeared to have been in the pasture for an extended period of time. Smith noted that even though the skull appeared bleached out, the teeth were intact except for two upper teeth which appeared to be missing. No dental work was evident. "It was pretty well weather-beaten," Smith said of the skull. He added that the skull showed no sign of fracture or gunshot.

A Monday search of the site resulted in the discovery of two additional bones, which investigators believe to be arm and leg bones. The bones were found within close proximity of the skull, which was located near a drainage ditch, Smith said.

Interesting thing about this map is that it shows how remote Hoskins Mound is, yet is easy to reach just by driving to the south-western tip of Galveston and then over the San Luis Pass to the mainland...

Elizabeth Ann Pfeifer disappeared Saturday, April 12, 1986. She left a party in Katy, Texas, around 1 A.M. and was never seen again. Elizabeth arrived with a group of friends but decided to leave with a man she met at the party.

Her parents reported Elizabeth as a missing person within one week. Initially, police talked to the group of friends who went to the party with her, and they also questioned the man she was last seen with. Little was done other than speaking with these witnesses.

Ms. Pfeifer has a tattoo on her left shoulder of a red rose with the name "Dave" printed under it. She has shoulder length hair and was last seen wearing a white pullover blouse with lavender sleeves and blue jeans.

Unidentified Biracial or Asian Female

The victim was discovered on September 27, 1987 in Houston, Harris County, Texas. The victim was located in a vacant field at 8100 Leghorn, Houston, Texas.
Cause of Death: Multiple stab wounds
Estimated Date of Death: 3-24 months prior
Skeletal Remains
Estimated age: 15-25 years old
Approximate Height and Weight: 5'0"
Distinguishing Characteristics: Race is mixed. Primary race is White. May be Asian. Black or Brown hair, 8 inches in length (may be synthetic).
Clothing: Tan, short sleeved, round neck T-shirt, with brand name "Gulf Coast Sportswear" with logo bearing "Sam's Place 97 Rock Houston Gamblers" on the front, lettering is orange. A red strapless bra; white leather type shoes with small heels, size 7. A belt with mans belt buckle; blue jean shorts.
Dentals: Available; 1, 17, 32 - partial root formation.
DNA: Available; mtDNA & nucDNA Profile available - FBI NMPDD.

This case may have a direct connection to fans of the Houston Gamblers franchise. The victim was found wearing a tan t-shirt with "Sam's Place, 97 Rock, Houston Gamblers" printed across the front in red. In addition, the victim was wearing a red strapless bra and size 7M white leather shoes with small heels. It is possible that the victim acquired the shirt at a function held at "Sam's Place." It is equally possible that the victim purchased the shirt from a thrift shop or other place with no connection to the Gamblers or their fans. With that being said, the most obvious clue to follow is to learn if any patrons of Sam's Place or fans of the Gamblers recognize this female.

Lorraine Migl Light
Missing since November 23, 1989 from Spring, Harris County, Texas.
Classification: Endangered Missing
* Date Of Birth: July 23, 1968
* Age at Time of Disappearance: 21 years old
* Height and Weight at Time of Disappearance: 5'3"; 105 lbs.
* Distinguishing Characteristics: White female. Hazel eyes; blonde hair.
* Marks, Scars: Discoloration on left leg.
* Dentals: Available * DNA: Pending

Light was last seen when her mother-in-law dropped her off in the parking lot of her apartment at about 02:00 am. Earlier that evening, she had gone to get groceries to make Thanksgiving dinner for her 3-year-old daughter. After that Lorraine went out with friends.

When her sister came home at around 03.00, to the apartment she'd shared with Lorraine, she wasn't there. In the kitchen, the sister saw grocery bags on the floor and a turkey defrosting in the sink.
The answer machine was blinking, and when the sister played the message, she was confused. The caller said it was Lorraine, but it didn't sound like her, saying she had met someone and was going to Mexico for a few days. Her sister knew Lorraine would not have left, especially on Thanksgiving. Plus, she says, whoever had left the message called her "Cindy", a nickname Cynthia says, Lorraine never used.

When Lorraine didn't show up by Thanksgiving evening, her sister got concerned. She called police, and Harris County Precinct 4 Constables responded and took the report.

At some point, the case was transferred to the Harris County Sheriff's Department's Homicide Division, and the records have been lost.
Foul play is possible.

In 1995, six years after Lorraine disappeared, two witnesses said they had overheard the father of Lorraine's boyfriend talking in a nightclub. "He made some admissions", says Clopton, regarding the Lorraine's disappearance. "They'll never find her," was one of the remarks the witnesses passed on.
Cynthia says, upon being told of the overheard conversation, she filed a report with the Sheriffs Department. Today, that report is nowhere to be found.
