ALAMOSA — It has been over two weeks and Angelica Sandoval is still missing, but her mom is not giving up hope.

“We’ve hired a private detective,” Michelle Sandoval said. “We are doing everything we can to find her.”

Angelica disappeared the night of February 23. She had come home that night from doing her laundry at a laundromat and was bringing in her clean laundry. She went outside to get her last basket and never came back into the house.

Sandoval missing for one year today

It has been a year since Michelle Sandoval last saw her daughter, Angelica.

The night of February 23, 2011, Angelica went to a Laundromat with her one-year old daughter. She washed her clothes, folded them, and returned to her home on 13th Street.

She took her daughter inside, then went back out to get her clean clothes. She never returned to the house.

For a year Angelica’s family and friends have been searching for her.
