I guess it is often the strong, silent type. You never know who you are dealing with. Sounds like he was very controlling and into his power trips. I just don't see how he plays into this scenario, but they must have some evidence to support their theory.

I found this on another Blog site:"News Channel 5 has learned and confirmed through an anonymous source that Mr. Jones works in Grand Junction at an RV company as a maintenance repairman. The business happens to be just feet away from where Paige Birgfeld's red Ford Focus was set ablaze on Sunday, July 1st. I haven't lived in Grand Junction for nearly two years, but am familiar with the area which her car was found. I looked in an old phone book and as near as I can tell, the RV place *might* be Bob Scott RV's.

On the Bob Scott page if you scroll down to where it gives the address of the parts and service dept. you can click on it and see a map.

If you go to Google maps, and type in 727 23 Road Grand Junction Colorado then hit 'search maps'

The parts and service dept. is located at 2302 Grand Park Drive which is just south and east of Walker Products at 727
23 Rd where her burned out car was found.

Comparing the two maps.... where Paige's car was found is probably just over a block away.
It's no wonder Jones is considered a person of interest. Very interesting
 
Some of these perps are just too stupid! Why would he burn her car a block away from where he worked?! Sheesh! He put a bullseye on his forehead himself!
 
Seriously Searching, you know, that's so preposterously obvious, that it almost seems too obvious. Could anyone really be that stupid? Makes ya wonder. I guess we'll just have to stay tuned to see how all this plays out.

If LE took the plastic liner to the bed it sounds like she must have met that creep at his home. I wonder where his wife was or maybe they have some kind of arrangement...yuk. I guess she could have been at home and maybe they had a threesome.

I would also suspect the lst husband because of the reason that they got divorced. Dancing in a strip joint is probably nothing compared to what she was into with the escort service. Her ad on Craigs leaves little to the imagination. The only rule is not to have a dirty house and no scummy hotels.
She even told the ex that she was going to see two clients before she went home. They probably had sex...I gathered that from something that he said...and then she was going to go do tricks with two clients and that was alright with him????????? I can't imagine that being alright with him if they were working on getting back together. If it was alright with him his values and morals sure took a down hill dive since they divorced.

I wonder how LE knows for sure that she ever left the ex's place?
 
The first husband is adamant about the fact they were "back together" and she is NOT a prostitute *coughcallgirl*. He said she never engaged in sex with her "clients" and only did massages, kept them company, and such. Since he believes her wholeheartedly *coughfool*, I guess to him it didn't sound as bad as stripping. It was the second husband that had a problem with the stripping tho...after finding underwear in her car.

Once again, media keeps mixing up facts. First I hear it was 1st ex-h that left her because he had issues with her stripping. Now seriouslysearching says it was the 2nd husband.... I wish they could get their stories right! I hope LE is not bumbling this one.
 
What if it was some kind of auto-erotic asphyxiation thing gone bad? What if they were engaging in some really kinky sex games and Paige died? Could Lester have panicked and dumped her body somewhere and then driven her car off and burned it? And his wife could be in on it, too, if that's the case.
 
There is one reason that pushes me towards a stranger (i.e. Lester) in this case. Why burn the car? If it was the ex-husband that she had just visited, he wouldn't have had to burn the car to remove any evidence because he could easily say that he'd been in her car to explain away any trace of him there. It's been apparently well documented that they were supposedly re-kindling their relationship.

Lester definitely would not have wanted to have been discovered at all. If he had anything to do with this crime, he would have wanted to burn her car if he had left any evidence of himself in it.

Just IMO.
 
Well, I'd like to repeat the question I posted earlier. I have not seen or heard why the search was started on Hwy 50, has anyone else? This is nowhere near where she lives. It is a bit closer to this Lester's house but his search came days after the foot search along the Highway.
Also, I read that she was visiting her first ex husband in Eagle which is a two hour drive and again, no where near Highway 50.

Birgfeld told friends she had worked as an exotic dancer before she married Dixon in 1998 in Las Vegas, according to published reports. The couple had three children, ages 3 to 8.
Birgfeld reportedly returned to exotic dancing in 2004 when the couple's finances took a downturn.
Courts records show Dixon was arrested on domestic-violence charges in 2005 for allegedly slapping and shoving Birgfeld after finding underwear in her car that led him to believe she was engaging in sex acts.
Since her divorce in 2006, Birgfeld made and sold baby slings, sold kitchenware, worked as a mystery shopper, gave dance lessons to children and speculated in local real estate.
