Coronation of King Charles III - 6 May 2023

I know this is completely unreasonable but I sort of desire daily updates on both Charles and Catherine and how they're getting on. I also feel they deserve medical privacy and space to be ill and recover just the same as anyone else does.

I'll settle for "no news is good news". As long as we don't hear anything to the contrary, I'll assume that Charles and Catherine are doing well and making good progress with their respective cancer treatments. I wish them well.

"Sensitive, self-critical and shy,

the real Prince Philip belied his brusque and hawkish image.

With the anniversary of his death,

we remember a towering figure whose passing marked the end of an era..."

“His Majesty The King will shortly return to public-facing duties after a period of treatment and recuperation following his recent cancer diagnosis,” the palace said in a statement shared with HuffPost.

“To help mark this milestone, The King and Queen will make a joint visit to a cancer treatment centre next Tuesday, where they will meet medical specialists and patients,” the palace said. “This visit will be the first in a number of external engagements His Majesty will undertake in the weeks ahead.”
