EVIDENCE - Pro and Con #2

Interesting though, Berkeley and Charleston are part of the Ninth Circuit while Horry and Georgetown are part of the Fifteenth Circuit....so, doesn't make sense for it to be in Charleston.

I would think TMs mother will be called to the stand. She doesn't seem to be able to keep it straight as to whether these two were home all night or out until 'around 3AM' the night in question. While the attys for SM and TM may want the gag order lifted, I bet they wish they could gag others. :drumroll:

“We were all together the night she went missing,” Caison said. “They [Sidney and Tammy] had just gotten home around 3 o’clock [a.m.] and they never left the house. We were up that night. We all go to work early in the morning.

” Polly Caison said the truck police referred to never left the yard and that police didn’t spend enough time looking for other suspects, but instead targeted the Moorers."

For those of you local to the area, have you seen the newly released couple out and about? Coming and going from their compound? etc

I have to ask this question every time because I can never find the link on my own, but where is the lower level that we used to post in? And how do I find the link on my own instead of having to be annoying every time by asking. Thanks in advance.

I haven't seen them, but I don't think we frequent the same parts of town.

However, Attorney Greg McCollum, Tammy Moorer's lawyer, said Tuesday afternoon that all parties involved were on a conference call on Tuesday instead.

"An Order should be forthcoming from Judge Dennis. It is my understanding that Judge Dennis feels he does not have jurisdiction to change the Gag Order. Due to his ruling, there will be no hearing tomorrow at the Charleston County Court House," McCollum said.

McCollum added that he does not intend to appeal the decision because the trial start date (May 11) is so close.

So now Tammy will have to stay "officially" muzzled until May, at least she won't be out front with her harassment of the Elvis family.

How could the judge have jurisdiction for the rest of the case and not have it for this part of it?

Good question. Seems like the left hand doesn't know how to speak to the right one. Or, it was done as an inside favor IMO. I can't see it applying during the trial phase.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk. Sorry for any typos!

What appeal are you referring to PTF?

The motion to lift the gag order was filed before the bond hearing. Why on earth did it take Judge White this long to realize he does not have jurisdiction to change the Gag Order. Sheesh !!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry, was posting from my phone. I just meant motion to lift gag order.

When it was filed and put through the system, why wasn't it somehow flagged?

I think you meant Judge Dennis (not White).
