Mollie Halpern: The FBI needs your help to identify two unknown women who could lead investigators to the victim in a child *advertiser censored* case.

I’m Mollie Halpern of the Bureau, and this is Wanted by the FBI.

The women, known as Jane Does 25 and 26, are in non-pornographic photos with the victim—a girl between the ages of 6 and 8. Supervisory Special Agent Brooke Donahue says one woman appears Hispanic…

Brooke Donahue: The second, believed to be a white female, with the beginnings of a tattoo across her entire back that depicts wings on either side.

Halpern: Clues in the background of the images show that the women and victim may have connections to the Los Angeles, San Bernardino, or Riverside County areas.

Donahue: The victim child is seen wearing a San Bernardino County Junior Fire Marshal’s hat.

Halpern: The child is also seen in images swimming at a hotel in the area of Desert Hot Springs, California

Donahue: Please go to the website and help us identify and rescue this 6- to 8-year-old child.

Halpern: If you have any information, contact your local FBI field office or visit www.fbi.gov.

I kind of have a dumb question...but why aren't we looking at a screen shot of the man who was abusing the child rather than these 2 women who are apparently innocent?

Maybe these woman are the one who abused the child?

I think both woman look younger then the age range the FBI listed so I think they may have more info then released. JMO.

Hmmm... On the FBI site, the winged woman isn't shown with the Hispanic woman & the fire marshall hat now. So does this mean they have Jane Doe 25?

Law enforcement officials are seeking information which will lead to the identification of an unknown individual known as Jane Doe 26. It is believed that this individual may have critical information pertaining to the identity of a child victim in an ongoing sexual exploitation investigation.
Images containing this individual were found on the Internet, and first came to the attention of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in August of 2012.
Jane Doe 26 is described as a possibly Hispanic female, likely between the ages of 25 and 35, with dark hair and brown eyes.
Additional images relevant to the investigation include those depicting the victim wearing a San Bernardino County Junior Fire Marshal hat, and visiting the swimming facilities at a hotel located in the area of Desert Hot Springs, California, possibly on the date of March 16, 2010.

Thats interesting! I went back to the website and she has not been placed back on there* - so no mistake, she's been taken off.

Lets hope they got news and identified her.

I too wondered why they would show these women - who according to everything I've read, are just bystanders. Kinda like, if you go on vacation and you're snapping photos of your friend, in the background there are other tourists. I'm wondering if these women were in the background? It could be something as innocent as that. And they may not even know one another.

We are talking about a predator with a camera, for all we know - and the women were possibly in the pool playing with the child - the man snapped photos (which the FBI believes, they would remember interacting with the child). Given that the sign behind the "winged" person looks like it says "massage" - I'm wondering if it wasn't one of those resort type hotels with a pool, sauna and massage area?

There's a wiki site regarding only chimos/rapists and it gives a rather good run down of how those underground sites tend to work. It's worth a read (the wiki) because they even profile each person who've they tried to bust or have busted. It's scary stuff. At least for me.

Back to this case: it will be horrible if they women are identified but they are no closer to identifying the perp and victim. This was 3 years ago. I'm now starting to wonder if the perp is a relative that has full access to the child.

Not that it matters now, but, to me it didn't look like a tattoo, or even and outline. More like someone having an idea and getting someone to draw it on them and taking a picture, just to "try it out". She may not even have the tattoo, she may have said "nup, don't like it". Before I get my tattoos I get my husband to draw it on with pen so I can see how the idea looks in reality. It helps with size, position etc. we're also strange and like to draw on each other sometimes. My 7 year old had a wicked looking dragon a few days ago! I can't draw so I just write how awesome I am on my husbands back where he can't see it.

I wonder if maybe they weren't involved at all since it did say that online communication suggested they knew the perp. Maybe they traced digital foot prints and they were Facebook friends or something. Or maybe images of the women were found on the same flash drive or something.

I wonder if the women were in other images and not in the ones with the child and the male.

In other words, the common denominator is the male who they are not showing. The women are in video or images with him. And he is in others with the child, hence they feel these women would probably know who the child is since they know the man and the man has been abusing and videoing that abuse of the child over the course of a year or so.

As to why they are not showing the male it may be because LE fears that if they release the male's image he may harm the child victim. MOO they have reason to believe the child victim is still under the control of the male and that child is in grave danger.

I was looking at the Mass on the wall too, I think Massage could be a possibility too. Ink place and Massage places seem to go together, maybe a popular strip there would be a place to start.

Just saw the post that Jane Doe #25 has been identified. I hope she talks and gets that kid out of danger.
