Investigators on the multi-agency Kyron Horman Task Force have subpoenaed more than 300 sets of e-mail, cellular phone and computer records, and have hired private technical specialists, including a cellular phone engineer from California, to assist in their review.

"We've collected those items, and now it's going to take time to get through all of it," Staton said.

I wonder if there is "something" in these 300 sets of e-mails that Desiree spoke about recently ?

Remember Desiree's recent comment that TH stated in e-mails that she blamed Kyron ?

I sure would like to know Desiree's take on this news ...

Prayers for Kyron, Desiree, Tony ... and that Kryon is found soon !

The one thing that I take comfort in, in this whole case, is that GOD knows what happened, who did what and where Kyron is. He will make it known in His own perfect timing, not our timing, but His timing. I truly believe in my heart that God will make the truth known and the person or persons who were involved in Kyron's disappearance will be found out. You can run from the law, You can run from yourself, but you can't run from God. HE KNOWS.

And about Statons remark, that they would take a different approach if the case went stagnant, to me, it seems he's saying they won't give up, that they will keep revisiting it and take a different approach. Maybe I'm reading it wrong but that's what I got from it.

Just thinking back to the beginning of this case ... Wasn't there a LEO actually staying in the Horman home the first several days? Initially, did LE believe this was a kidnapping?

Maybe they have determined they may not be able to find Kyron after all and will have to go on without him? If they finished searching those last areas and do not have any more places to look? They don't really mention finding Kyron here, except to say they wish they had...

I think the DA has been planning for a trial without a body for a long time. When asked about it last summer, DA Schrunk said that they have tried cases in the past without a body.

Obviously it would really help finding Kyron but it's like finding the proverbial needle in 10 haystacks. Just too much forested area and water for a small body to be found. One thing I've seen in following many of these cases is that searches rarely turn up a body. Usually if a body is found without a confession it's because somebody unrelated to a search happens upon it while hiking or walking around their property or something like that. And even that is unlikely if Kyron was put in the water or buried among the trees in some remote area not near a trail.

I posted a link a while back that was a checklist for cases without a body and the first item under the trial section was to be sure that the prosecution could rule out as many different scenarios as possible before taking the case to trial. The priority of any defense is to cast doubt in a jury's mind and no body just means more room for the defense to maneuver. The DA gets just one chance at trying Terri for murder so, if that is their ultimate goal, they have to get it as right as possible. I'm sure it's an agonizing choice that they are having to make, weighing the great desire for justice against practical concerns.

I find it very encouraging that the FBI is dedicating agents...they have higher levels of investigative tools that are now available to little Kyron's case. He deserves this added help. Maybe some of the stuff that has been collected has been looked at before, but the FBI can do more with it....

Kudos to all LE who have been working so hard and tirelessly on this case. :rocker:

Good news. No one is going to give up on finding you sweet Kyron. Your mama is fightin' with every single ounce of her being too. You are so loved... <3

So they are on the "right track" meaning chasing the right suspect?

The commissioner said what she meant by right track was whether the investigation should continue.

A rather surprising definition to me.

Well heck, I missed it completely.

Anything to report?

What happened? Did he say anything that was not in the Oregonian article?

I didn't catch anything new - other than one of the commissioners asked if they are on the right track and the short answer was yes. See BeanE's post above about what constituted 'right track' in her question.

Yeah. The ADA didn't really answer her the first time she asked. Obviously deflecting the intent of the question. What he DID say, however, was they were in the process of building an airtight case. "Hearing between the lines," I kinda think he was implying that, yeah, by focusing on TH they are on the right track. Anybody else get that from his statement? Or am I drinking spiked Nescafe?

No, I didn't get that out of what he said. I got that he didn't want to answer, and is skilled at deflection.

I got more out of reading the agenda request form (sorry, I can't remember what the form is called) then I did out of the meeting.

Except that I got to see Jason again.

I have not heard the Interview, but if they are "in the process of building an airtight case"...then reason dictates...there is one person who is the focus.

I don't see how one can have only suspicions, or no evidence, or multiple suspects...if the process "for building an airtight case" is underway.

Someone, just ONE someone... is sitting in the middle of that box as all the hot air is getting squeezed out.
