The skeletal remains of this decedent were found behind a building on Ranchwood Drive, near Lavista Road and I-285 in northern Dekalb County, GA.

The victim was located on September 17, 1993 in a wooded strip off of Northlake Parkway on the West side of Interstate 285

The UID exclusions list in Namus does not include Hall:

There is no mention in Namus that the UID had a skull plate or a Richmond screw like Hall is said to.

to summarize, the DeKalb County UID was estimated by Doe Network to be between 20-40, 5'4" to 5'7", 115-140 lbs, frosted type hair with significant medical history of left hip replacement and expensive dental work:

there is a missing person by the name of Betty Fran Smith from NJ. Betty vanished on October 1, 1991.

Betty was 5'2", between 115-120 lbs, blonde hair (could pass as frosted to me) and Betty had a right hip replacement.

Betty's disappearance has blamed by some on her husband John Smith III. Some sources list Betty's name as Fran Gladden Smith. Smith had ties to Florida and his first wife went missing from Ohio and her remains were found 6 years later in Indiana:

of interest, per Doe, Betty's front two teeth had caps on them, which seems to match the dental records of the UID.

big difference is the side of the hip where the replacement was done. UID says left, Betty says right.

Betty had breast implants and there is no reference to that with the UID.

When I cross-checked through my UID's with medical hardware, this case caught my attention:

Perhaps her disappearance was voluntary, and she ended up deceased 14 years later. She would be 36 by then, and within the UID's age range (20-40). Her height is also within range.

Both Cynthia and the UID had steel rods/plates in their left femur. No mention that Cynthia had a hip replacement, but she did have a broken pelvis, so maybe they neglected to mention a hip replacement, or maybe it was done during the 14-year interim.

Also, her facial shape is right-on to the facial reconstruction.

I think this lady was from another country, which to me is why there are no medicial records about her in the United States and to me she does look like she is from another country

Despite the discrepency in which side the hip issues are on, I would very much like to see http://www.doenetwork.org/cases/1471dfmd.html Christine Ann Jarret ruled out either by dental comparison or comparison of actual medical records or by DNA. Confusions between left and right have been known to happen in descriptions.

The way I came up with this possible match is I figured that the jane doe has much evidence for having experienced in the past a period of problems involving calcium/vitamin D. She's got a previously broken hip despite being of pre-menopausal age, and she's got a bunch of tooth problems that have been fixed expensively so therefore are not likely to have been the result of addiction/poverty. Obviously if her bones were still badly calcified the coroner would have mentioned it. So I went looking for a missing female with a neck scar from possible parathyroid surgery.

No mention that the UID had breast implants. And if they mentioned the pin in her right hip, you would think that they would mention the additional hardware in the leg.

True. I was just trying to match up on the hip and when I saw the breast implants I thought she may have gotten rid of them or the killer did. Unlikely I know.
