Get those teeth marks examined!
Pretty good forensic people around here. No doubt it is being done. The fact that they named him as a suspect tells me they are pretty sure.

Good for Jennifer, and God rest her. Prayers for her family, esp. for her husband and three children. She was a wonderful lady and human being.

This monster shouldn't have been out of prison...another one who should have remained locked up. When will the criminal justice system get that these people can't be rehabbed?

Rape victim warned of murder suspect's release

By CARLOS CAMPOS

A rape victim in Paulding County issued an eerie warning 15 years ago about the man investigators charged last week with killing a Sandy Springs cyclist and mother of three off the Silver Comet Trail.

"I dread the day he gets out because I think he'll do it again," the 22-year-old woman told authorities in 1991. "There are no words to tell you; it is a hellish nightmare."

She sounded the alarm in a victim's impact statement filed as part of the court proceedings against Michael William Ledford. The statement is among documents the Journal-Constitution obtained Tuesday from the Georgia Board of Pardons and Parole. Ledford, 43, spent 10 years in prison after his rape conviction in the 1991 case.

Authorities say the man charged in the death of a 54-year-old cyclist on the Silver Comet Trail had blood in his home and car.

Court documents filed yesterday say authorities saw the car of Michael William Ledford about 100 yards from where Jennifer Ewing's body was found.

UGH! When these 'things' rape/abuse children/women why can't we just kill them? Why are they continuously let out to do it again and again???? I just wish the ghosts of the victims would come back and haunt the people responsible for letting these 'things' out of jail. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: I think I am going to buy a gun.

We have several, I was very against them for a long time wouldn't let hubby bring in the house, most of his 'weapons' were at MIL's house, he had one pistol in his truck...but not anymore. A while back there seemed that home invasions were becoming a common thing in metro atlanta.... I now have a shotgun in the house at all times and pistol for house and one for each car....let someone come in my house to hurt my family or try and grab me or my kids while we are loading groceries!!!!

:hand: Before you all jump on me about having guns and kids in the house, we are responible adults and know how to keep them 'up' and 'away' from our children. :hand:

Get a shotgun. Harder to do that with one oh and if your loved ones want to stage a 'suicide' that would make it hard also. (I have a bit of a morbid sense of humour.)
