I grew up in GA and my best friends older sister was Miss Teen Georgia First Runner Up and looked so similar to Tara that when Tara's disappearance ocurred I remember goosebumps! Maybe that could have been Erin. I think of Tara often. I hope there can be closure for her family soon. She was such a sweet southern girl like the girls I grew up with.

I was going to say that I believe they have her killer's DNA from the crime scene. Maybe he finally popped up in the system b/c he got caught for another offense and had to submit DNA?!

OH my GOODNESS! JUSTICE PLEASE!

I hope the guy confesses. Maybe he can do one right thing and confess.

The Justice for Tara Grinstead has some interesting comments.

Paraphrasing- Around town word is that a guy confessed and led LE to her remains. He would have been around 21 years old at the time.

21 years old? I wonder if he voluntarily went to police b/c it ate at him after all this time or again if DNA caught up with him.
