Hannah Graham: The Search - #2

Does anyone know if or when the Charlottesville police may ask for volunteer searchers this weekend?

JMO, they may not want to have volunteer searchers out in certain areas due to the start of hunting season (starts 10/4 for bow hunting and 10/5 regular hunting). Could possibly be a liability concern. On the other hand, it will be good to have the hunters out and about searching as they hunt. http://www.newsplex.com/home/headlines/Police-Ask-Hunters-to-Lookout-for-Clues-in-Hannah-Graham-Disappearance-277938382.html

Does anyone know if there are searches for Hannah going on beyond the county line? Being a West Coaster, I struggle with the locations being searched.

However, there was the "tweet" from a guy in Craigsville saying JM was in an IGA there on Saturday morning that Hannah disappeared. Who would have the authority to search there? Are jurisdictional constraints confining the search to the immediate area of Albemarle County (although a VAST area) or are simultaneous searches happening in locations outside of the county???

Perhaps the searches are based on other information (phone GPS or ???) of which I'm unaware, but JM had lots of time and some experience hiding things. He may have figured out leaving a body in close proximity to Charlottesville was not a good idea. I can't quite understand what is driving the locations of the searches, even with the excellent maps some posters have created.

Has this been discussed in the media?

To: Tink 56:

FYI -- Today searchers were in Nelson County, which includes the area of the Rockfish River where the poster just before you
called our attention to a blue tarp-covered site . . . .

Interesting. . . .

Well explains DNA evidence as it would pertain to JM's car (pardon if repeat)

There was an intersting post on the scanner thread today. It was put there earlyin the morning.

Another possible recent witness steps up. A young person who'd been at Tempo that night but was hesitant to call, was convinced on the facebook page to call the tip line.

"Along with new technology, crews hope to rely on 167,000 licensed hunters when deer season begins this weekend.

“A lot of people bow hunt and a lot of people don't, but as the weekends go on you will have a lot of people in the woods scattered around. They will find a lot more stuff than other people that ain't have been there,” said Glenn Spradlin, hunter." http://www.nbc29.com/story/26688654/crews-search-for-hannah-graham-in-nelson-county

Talk about an expanded search operation!!!

Do you have a link? I just saw this on Parker's FB page too. Is it connected to the new possible witness or something else?
A tip was called in tonight that I won't repeat and jeopardize any investigation but some interesting information is going to come soon...

So exciting - Link please!

Nope, breezed through it, sorry. Nothing sensational to be had, really. Posted as just another example of the tide turning on people from JM's past and witnesses coming forward, stepping up, and how good concerned people without personal beefs have helped make that happen. Most credible tips go straight to the LE, I would think. You can find it yourself on the Help Find Hannah Graham facebook page, but what you've linked isn't it if they still have it up. Thanks for asking, again, sorry I can't help.

All you have to do is go to the Help Find Hannah Graham FB page and read "posts to page" to know what is being talked about with regard to the person possibly calling in a tip.
