Anyone know if there is any type of 'code of ethics' (For a lack of a better word) for bailsmen? In other words is there an understanding that they won't bail out child rapist/child murderers? (My wishful thinking of course.)

Oooh, GREAT question!!! I don't know the answer to that, but they SURELY weigh up the odds of the perp showing up. I am willing to bet they wouldn't take a chance on this guy, I really doubt $10k would stop this guy from running.

Well it looks like maybe Danny "Freak" Friddle may possibly be charged with more serious charges and that would keep him locked up even longer than he deserves-

During the raid, police confiscated Friddle's desktop computer.
If police find that Friddle was posting the child pornographic video or images online, federal authorities could then step in.
"If it turns out he did videotape this, cognizant of fact that it was being recorded, that he was aware of the abuse, there are potential production charges and those carry a 15 year mandatory minimum," says Clare Connors, U.S. Attorney Office.
This isn't the first time Friddle has been under investigation for child abuse.
Nearly five years ago, child protective services placed Friddle's two young sons in foster care after confirming he threatened harm to them.
The boys were later released to their mother, who then moved back to the mainland, and the case was closed.
Tonight, Friddle remains at HPD's main cellblock. His bail is set at one hundred thousand dollars.

I am sickened to hear that he has been molesting her since her birth- up to the day almost- They did a timestamp on the footage, and it shows he started almost at birth to molest that poor baby- He has a real probme and must have a lot of HATE inside of him to do such an evil thing.- more at link above -
I am still looking to see if the has posted bail yet- It wouldn't surprise me if his mom/parent bailed him out- A lot of times, parents of monsters are so used to listening to their lies, they either believe the BS story, or dont want to believe that their child could do something so horrible- I will repost if I find anything about the bail situation-

I would assume that he would NOT be able to call on the "Dog" for help on his bail-LOL :chicken: I personally know that he (Duane) tends to take on a lot of "risky" offenders, but there are a lot of "ice-heads" (meth users) on the islands, and they can get very violent while using.:bang:

That should be shaking in his shoes!! Im sure the braddahs in lockup are having fun tormenting him-hehe. Im sure he is segregated for his own safety, but most Hawaiian/Samoan men are HUGE, and DF looks like a little/slight man- he definitely doesnt look like he could hold his own. He will get some rough justice along the way,no matter how segregated they keep him (btw- I havent read that he was seperated, they just usually do protect the bad ones from the GP)

Danny Friddle's friends and family said they want him punished.
Friddle, 30, made two court appearances on Monday -- one for the sexual assault case and another for a traffic warrant. At both hearings, women who he has been involved with went to court to watch.
Friddle, a dishonorably discharged former Schofield Barracks soldier, visibly trembled in court. Sheriffs surrounded him primarily for his own safety.
An hour later, he was still shaking as he waited for appearance on a traffic court contempt warrant. He gestured to a girlfriend that he knows his life is over by putting his hand to his head like a gun.
"What was he trying to communicate to you?" KITV reporter Daryl Huff asked.
"He's OK, but he realizes again that he's lost everything," his girlfriend said.

Good news is that it sounds like he will do LOTS of time- Hopefully his sentences will be concurrent, but we all know how sometimes our justice system only does the perp any justice. Looks like he will get more than 20 years for each charge, and another 20 years for just video-taping the footage. In the article I posted in my previous post, it stated that if they find any evidence of the footage on his home PC, they can charge him federally with distribution and production charges and those carry a minimum 15 year sentence.

BTW- Has anyone heard why he was DIS-honorably discharged from the military? Is there any way to find these type of things out? Im not too up on my military info.

Thanks Chico Girl, I was wondering how that freak was making out in lockup. He's still breathing? Shaking in his boots,huh? I mean shaking in his shower shoes. Here's my question. Why, why, why were women there to see him? His girlfriend is actually still his girlfriend? That chicks self-esteem must be huge. Sorry, I don't know about the dishonorable discharge 411, but someone else most likely will. Thank you again for the update.

March 2009:

An O’ahu man who admitted in court last year that he repeatedly raped his infant child and videotaped the incidents was sentenced yesterday to life in prison with the possibility of parole – a sentence normally reserved for convicted killers.
Under the terms of a plea agreement, Danny Friddle will not ask for parole until he has served at least 15 years in prison and prosecutors will not ask the Hawai’i Paroling Authority to set a minimum term for Friddle of more than 20 years.
First Deputy City Prosecutor Douglas Chin said he believes the life term is the harshest sentence ever handed down in a sexual assault case in Hawai’i.
