Screenshots and closed Facebook groups are not allowed sources, per TOS and have to be treated as rumor, which is not allowed.

Awhile back someone mentioned there was a lake/pond right across from BC's apt. complex, but they'd seen no search or police activity around it -- is that still true? And what other bodies of water are, perhaps within 30 mins., of the apt. vicinity?
 
Just heard from my hourly news radio broadcast that BC is denying all of his accused convictions including kidnap and that he's waiting for his lawyer according to an court spokesperson briefing on the case. The court hearing is scheduled tomorrow at 10am local time.
 
I always find it so disturbing when a body is found and it's not related to the case at hand. How many bodies are just waiting to be found. [emoji17]

While I understand why everyone is making a huge deal about his bizarre fetlife MO and how that may perhaps imply motive and/or intent, we should keep in mind that it is a fantasy site and that any innuendo and/or allegations stemming from that can be twisted and contorted by any good defense attorney. For example, it could be easily argued that he was targeted because of his "fetish". In that same vein, the taped "confession" could be argued similarly - a kid with a fetish and a vivid imagination just spinning a local news story to make him look "cool" or whatever. Could even be argued that it was a "hypothetical". The ONLY physical evidence thus far that they seem to have tying the perp directly to Yingying is his car, and if he maintains the story that he picked her up and dropped her off, it isn't as open and shut as we hope. Particularly if they find no physical evidence of her being at his home, or - against her will - in his car (blood, signs of an assault, etc).

I hope they find her body. That should help tremendously with their case against him.

Shades of the Cannibal Cop case?

I must say, in general, I think most fetish-y folks have a firm grasp on reality vs fantasy, and act accordingly. This perp would be the unbalanced minority, imo. I was super not offended by most of what I saw on Fetlife. There was an air of safety, consent (even for nonconsensual role play), and communication. Due to this, I file this community under "consenting adults, I don't care what they do in the bedroom".

I am very curious about what he was carrying around in that backpack,
(IMO) he appears to be the only one carrying one.
Most students have signs but aren't carrying heavy purses, etc. for this walk.
Just an observation

I just noticed the first part of this article where it states that he would always go to the gym to work out at 5 am with a woman.

“He would nearly always come with a woman; I don’t know if she was his wife or his sister,” Jon Bowman said of Brendt Christensen. The two were part of a group of about 12 people who lifted weights at 5 a.m. nearly every day for the last few years at The Refinery in Champaign, Bowman said.


“Most of us who were working out were usually talkative and in a good mood, but Christensen was different,” Bowman said. “He and the woman always wore black, and they kept to themselves. They never said anything to the rest of us.”

From your link, the suspect appears to be at the top right on the stairs next to a woman with a purse.
