I am very curious about what he was carrying around in that backpack,
(IMO) he appears to be the only one carrying one.
Most students have signs but aren't carrying heavy purses, etc. for this walk.
Just an observation
Maybe it was in attempt to blend in with the student body? I don't want to know what was in it.

Here we go, the Daily Mail gets it first:

Photos of the walk, held in support for YingYing Zhang's family, show a man bearing a very strong resemblance to Christensen holding hands an unknown woman dressed in black

And I think it's safe to say that the woman pictured isn't his wife.

Whoever she is, I hope she's ok.

Me too. I am limited by TOS at the moment, but I will say I think that we will hear more about her as things develop. For the record, I did not sleuth her and don't think anyone else should either.

"was middle-age white female....So, I am thinking "not" related. But maybe they want to keep people from driving to the area
or traumatizing others unnecessarily until they get confirmation. The location does/could "fit" the direction the vehicle was headed
3 weeks ago, when the last cell ping hit. Isn't that also close to a cemetary?

Not sleuthing her, but in your opinion do you think she is possibly involved in the confession?

Yes, I do. Remember the "other occupant" in the criminal complaint? The one that consented to the search and seizure. MAYBE this is her.

This doesn't sound like Yingying, jmo.

I agree and if they can already determine the sex, race, and approximate age, it makes me think the body is relatively "fresh" and hasn't been out in the heat and exposed to the elements for 3 weeks. I hate to say it, but a body would be very decomposed if it's been outside very long in the summer.

Unfortunately, I have to agree. Do we know anything about BC's whereabouts around June 9th?

I believe he disposed of her quickly, before going home. I don't believe Yingying was ever in the apartment.

On thread #2, someone estimated Christensen to have been online until right before his arrest, based on the information ("Last Online") from his Steam profile.

Could he have "confessed" to someone he had been voice-chatting with over Steam? Perhaps he thought no one would be able to figure out who they were talking to, so he let it slip?

If he was using a relatively long-range wireless headset in particular, it probably wouldn't have been that difficult for the FBI to eavesdrop on the conversation, without having to bug the whole apartment or having someone wear a wire.

I wish we knew where his phone pinged from the time of the kidnapping until LE placed him under surveillance. He seems like a criminal who would have taken his phone with him.
