If true, IMO it wouldn't be tracking/scent dogs that were being brought in.. IMO if dogs were being brought in to places she was known to have last been in(or residences of those who were last with her)weeks after she disappeared it would most likely be dogs that can pick up the scent of human remains.. These type dogs do not only locate bodies but they also will alert on any areas that a body was.. So if Lauren dies In one of these places being searched, or her body was ever brought to any of these places being searched(if even for a few minutes) the dog will be able to pick up the scent and alert that there were indeed human remains at one time present in the area alerted..

This scent cannot be "cleaned" away therefor if Lauren died in any of these residences or her body at any time was brought to any of these residences the dog will still alert on them as positive for human remains..

I believe CR was banned from Smallwood for trying to break in with a credit card (with JR). I saw it on the previous thread.

I'm not sure where I read this but I seem to recall reading that he was banned for urinating on or in the building.

This just brings me to tears. Seeing the sidewalk LS walked on during what could have possibly been her last night. I hope something is found soon, so many people care about this girl and her family and we just all need to be able to rest. Her family needs closure and the ability to take her home.

I just read a rumor that interests me - that there were investigators and police dogs at the places the POIs live a little while ago.
I would be happy that they are still doing a thorough search, except I would have hoped that they already did this, thoroughly.

He was banned for urinating in the parking garage, yeah. But also had an intox ticket from the place too. Not sure which one came first, I assume the latter..

I wonder what is on that video... somebody is on that video. I think they are waiting for that person to come forward. I wonder what is important about 15 minutes prior to CR getting bopped at Smallwood.

I agree with you. I think someone (other than CR) is on that video. But what confuses me, if they have someone on there, and know who it is (which I would assume they do), they really wouldn't have to wait for him to come forward, would they? I mean, they can just go knocking on his door and ask him to come to the station for "questioning". Certainly, he can refuse and get an attorney, but I don't think they'd just sit and wait without doing anything...or would they?

A spokesman for Spierer's building, Ernie Reno, said Rossman was on a "no trespass" list the morning Spierer vanished, banned for prior disturbances at the building, Smallwood Plaza.

Rossman and a friend were arrested there on a public-intoxication charge Oct. 31. He was already on the list May 1 when he was seen urinating in the building's garage, Reno said.

there was some information on here about (modsnip) being on seen (on video I think) sitting with LS at an arcade?
When was this? the same night? early in the night? or what?
and where is the arcade?

I can not find where this was answered or started for that matter but i know gatto mentioned it on here

This is new/additional/different info I have never heard.. I read it reported that CR had received 2 write ups for incidents at Smallwood that resulted in his being banned/no-trespass on Smallwood property.. The two incidents reported were that he was intoxicated roaming the halls of Smallwood at a late hour.. And that the last incident was in their parking garage that he had relieved himself and was immediately escorted off the property by security..

In now thinking about this I wonder if this was part of the original incident, as in he was indeed caught roaming the halls of Smallwood at a late hour and this is when he was caught attempting to enter an apt by way of using a credit card.. I do remember that IB that report stating he was roaming the halls intoxicated that it said he was with another male, but it didn't name the other male..

I would like to see this article stating this new/additional info if anyone has the link handy..

FWIW Here's my speculation.....

1. LE does not think it's a random abduction if they are bringing dogs INTO the properties.
2. Since they are searching both properties, it tells me that they aren't really narrowed in on one POI. If they think it's JR, I doubt they'd be searching JW's place and vice versa...unless for some reason they think JR and JW were in together? Wouldn't that be odd?
3. Given what I said in #2, I can't tell if they are getting closer, or they are just speculating that it wasn't random and wanting to make one more search to "scare" these boys.

Regardless, I'm glad they are doing SOMETHING.

Hi, dlh10, and welcome. I believe that was part of a conversation about rumors carried over from another site. The individuals referenced in the rumors have never been named in any MSM articles, and we have no way of knowing if they encountered LS at all that night. Until we have verification, we're not discussing the individuals or the rumored allegations here. Thanks.

No, the male in the possible sighting was never identified. We call it either the 3:38 sighting or "the mystery man". See TG's for the whole story.

I, too wonder about the seeming strange reluctance of Smallwood to turn over video surveillance.. I know some may reply that there was nothing wrong or strange that occurred and thats fine but my opinion is that it is suspect..

Especially after LE going thru the steps of receiving the search warrant As Smallwood demanded that they do in order to access the video.. LE does so and still is met with excuses and delays and their beating around the bush stating the person with the keys isn't available.. Very upsetting and troubling when one of their own tenants had obviously met with nefArious Of situations and was missing.. So it resulted with LE forcing there way into the security room with the video..

They should have known that by their actions once reported would shed if anything a negative light on Smallwood and their cooperating in an investigation of one of their very own tenants.. It'd be one thing if say it was 5 North refusing to turn over video(just hypothetical I am fully aware 5 North has no video).. And it were a tenant that was a POI.. Still unwarranted IMO but more understandable thAn for their tenant to actually be the victim and they are making it difficult for LE to investigate the video..

I always thought from the moment we found out this happened with LE having to force their way in that it would somehow possibly have significance in this case.. Tho strictly just a feeling.. Now in thinking about it and the length of time they had the video before LE taking it into their possession(til June 7).. That is 4 days for "someone" who possibly was involved or somehow had stake in who was possibly involved to have totally erased possible very important video.. If even just a few seconds of video, or a possible angle of video that LE is not even aware of therefor would not even be any the wiser to this certain angle of video to be missing or not available..if they didn't know a specific angle of video even existed then they wouldn't know to even look for it..

Just some possibilities.. Especially after hearing that the owner of Smallwood is a friend or acquaintance of JR(and maybe other POi's)..

I also wonder if this group of guys that attacked CR In the lobby if they or their parents made a "request" to get rid of possible incriminating evidence(example would be like video of someone leaving out of Smallwood shortly behind LS/CR)..

These type things do happen in cases where friends and/or family attempt to help by disposing of incriminating evidence of a loved one or as a favor to friend or family..

As I said just possibilities to think on..
