Can't link yet .. not printed.. ahhh this is driving me nuts!!!!!!!!! It's posted from friends /fam/ on a private page. I'm sure it will be posted in morning.

How old, do you know?

I had viewed the sister's site yesterday, but it is private today.

ETA: That's really strange, because she had posted on her MS at about 2 AM last night saying they had received confirmation of her remains. LE is working around the clock on this one.

Just a thought, but if what 6angels is saying is true, then maybe the whole 19 yr old story was a smoke screen. Guess we'll find out tomorrow.

Authorities search a home in Great Bend in connection with the disappearance and murder of 14-year-old Alicia DeBolt.

Police and KBI agents went to the home in the 1800 block of E. 8th Street just before ten o'clock Thursday night.

Map - 1800 block E. 8th Street
Eyewitness News was there as investigators entered the home. The KBI says the man living there left voluntarily with investigators but returned home a short time later.

Eyewitness News spoke with the man earlier in the day Thursday. He says he never saw DeBolt on Saturday, the day she disappeared. The man says he had some friends over for drinks, then he and his wife went out to dinner.

The man says he allowed investigators to search his family's vehicle. Police have not named him or anyone else as a suspect. No arrests have been made.

I really have to wonder if the perp knew that there are no surveillance cameras at the asphalt plant? My first thought was an ex, or possibly current employee, or someone who does regular business there.

Frustrating that the local chatter on this case is so limited. I'd be interested to know whether the local kids knew this was a place they could smoke, drink, etc. without being caught on camera.

Officers said all statements on the warrant and what was found would come from the Kansas Attorney General’s Office in Topeka, but nothing would be released until later today. They did say their investigation into the death of 14-year-old DeBolt led them to the address.

In addition, they indicated they had the vehicle belonging to the wife of the man being questioned Thursday night. This was possibly a black Ford Escape, a small sport-utility vehicle.

The activity attracted numerous spectators. Some of them said the family that lived in the house had moved in about three weeks ago.

This is the man who's house was searched last night.... and the vehicle was stolen from where her body was found.

Authorities believe 36-year-old Adam Longoria stole a 2002 white Ford Explorer. That vehicle was reported stolen out of Barton County.

The vehicle has Kansas Tag: UGJ 366 and the word "Venture" is written on both doors in red lettering.

Longoria told us he was questioned in the DeBolt case and a search warrant was executed at his home Thursday evening.

The burned body of 14-year-old Alicia DeBolt was found Tuesday at Venture’s highway construction site just 5 miles southwest of Great Bend.

Longoria is suspected of stealing a 2002 Ford Explorer early this morning from the Great Bend company, according to Highway Patrol dispatch.

This is creepy, the Guy probably works there and has intimate knowledge of the area.

So he left voluntarily with investigators after his home was searched, then he returned home shortly, then he stole a car that fits the description of the car Alicia was last seen in from the same place her body was found and now he's on the run in the explorer? Sorry for the run on but that was alot of stuff that happened in just a few hours if I'm understanding it correctly.

snip from news

"The vehicle was taken from the Venture Company after 2:00 Friday morning. Authorities say he was last seen at the business at 6:00 Thursday evening in a gray small compact car".

I gather that after his house was search last Eve, drove his small grey compact left it at the Plant and stole the Explorer.

From what I read he must work there, finished work at 6 pm Thurs.
