I'm not sure if this information is really new, or just a rehashing. I found an update dated 05/28/2015 pretty much stating the same thing:

On May 28, 2015 the authorities released a statement that said, “A grand jury has received evidence in the case and is empaneled to hear available relevant testimony,” source Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office news release stated.

I second that!! Wow i had no idea there was any new action happening with his case! I followed it from day 1 on a different forum at the time . My oldest son is 14, so they were the same age when it happen and it was so heartbreaking. Ive always thought it's TH who did it once we found out she lied to the teacher about his Dr appt. I havent heard some of these newer updates regarding her more recent crimes shes charged with and the accusations of hitmen with more than one ex. Not surprised at all though. I sure hope they finally get to the truth and Kyrons family can have closure.

Desiree is so beautiful, her heart and love for her son Kyron is deep & pure.
How dare she be denied his life and love.
I just cant imagine Desiree's nightmares-I joined for Kyron and I feel like I have been waiting a lifetime.
The video of Desiree above, is so strong, loving, and honors Kyron.

Matou, a poster on another thread explained that The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children always create an age progression for an open case. They're "checking off the boxes on their case process forms".

Perfectly said! My heart breaks for her. Cannot imagine what she has gone through. That photo of Kyron with his tree frog exhibit always makes me smile, and cry at the same time. Such a precious child! How could anyone harm him?

Prayers for continued strength for his mother. If only he could be found alive, and brought back to his loving mother. I know she would be the happiest person in the world...
