Case History
A hunter found the victim's partial skeletal remains, along with skeletal remains of a dog, in a wooded area off Nichols Cemetery Road, about a quarter of a mile off Highway 28 West near Gardner.
The dog had been shot. Investigators found who had shot the dog but did not know if the dog belonged to the victim. They were not able to establish the victim's cause of death, but do believe she was dumped at the location.
