Identified! LA - Lafayette, Human remains in woods off Lajaunie Rd, Jun'17 - Vickie Patterson

The Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office says that they have been able to confirm the identity of skeletal remains found in June of this year in Lafayette.

According to the Sheriff's Office, the remains, which were located on Lajuanie Road in June have been identified as those belonging to 20-year-old Vickie Litriece Patterson, a native of Illinois.

The mother of the woman whose remains were found on LaJaunie Road in June says her daughter came to Louisiana with "a guy and a girl."

Vickie Patterson's mother says she doesn't know when her daughter traveled to Louisiana or how long she had been here.

Vickie’s Facebook page has since become a point of concern for the family.

On March 24, 2017, the profile picture was changed to that of an unknown white woman. She bears no resemblance to Patterson, who was black. That same day, someone posted a photo under Patterson’s name of a shopping cart in a parking lot outside a store. The photo is blurry, and is it unclear where it was taken or why it was posted.

i think this girl was trafficked, willingly or unwillingly idk. a guy and a girl could be another trafficking victim and a pimp. I know my mom would know exactly when I went to another state and with who. rest in paradise young lady

I think someone messed with her fb page or that is a fake page. Under games liked it is something called "Who is the killer?" Her favorite quote is "Beauty is dangerous but Intelligence is lethal". I think the other page may be her actual page or she had two and one got hacked.... Either way, I hope LE have put in warrants to get a trace on the fb and when/where it was edited last.

Right! Is she also "missing"? This girl was clearly involved in some very dangerous stuff. I am worried for anyone who was in her circle of people.

In the picture you can see someone else in the background, you can see a red nike sandal just behind her, and it appears to me that they are in a hotel(looks like plastic wrapped cups on the mirrored dresser behind her). I’m wondering if the victim was killed, but had a tablet/phone that didn’t have service and that already had her logged in to her fb account. Then this person, connected it to the hotel WiFi and posted this picture as a cry for help. This isn’t a happy picture to me. You can see either bruising, or heavy bags, under this woman’s eyes.

Edit: if they can pinpoint the area, they need to look at hotels who haven’t ran their tv cables through the wall properly and just has them dangling down.

I feel like the girl in the photo resembles the missing girl Daisy more than Gina. I’m so bad at this kind of thing though.
