Crown asks if Khattak knew what she was doing for work. He says Babcock had stopped her studies, but he wasn't aware if she had a job.

Khattak says he gave her some meeting, on the second and third meeting but he doesn't remember how much.

He says he never had sex with Babcock, never saw her do drugs.

Is it just me, or is anyone else finding it hard reading marianne boucher's tweets? This date (BBM) seems way off as well. Another reporter (Shannon Martin) mentioned "after Canada Day", but no date.

I'd be curious to know how old her friend Julie is.

I've had random guys make all sorts of crazy outlandish promises to me, I've never had the interest in continuing the conversation to see if they'd come to fruition though.

I'm more concerned that she met some guy in a bar and moved in with him right away. To me it doesn't matter that he had a guest room, she didn't know him, he could have been some evil perv.

In the end, it's ironic that they guys who killed her were ones that she knew and had known for awhile rather than any of these other guys. It's heart breaking, I just want to hug her and say 'no, Laura don't do that it's not safe'

The two friends had a falling out in 2011 but reconnected. After this, she said Babcock was using cocaine and smoking weed more often.
