Assistant District Attorney David Deakin said Monday that a lifelong friend of McCarthy told police he had lived with the couple and Bella earlier this year but moved out because he was appalled at how they treated her.
According to the friend, the couple had locked Bella inside a closet at least twice for 30 minutes to an hour while she screamed, the prosecutor said.

Close. Neveah backwards is Haeven. I have been seeing this name a lot, and always with the explanation that it is Heaven in reverse.

The spelling reversal is not at all new. We've had a beauty salon in town for 15 years that uses that name, and it was not all that novel when they named their shop.

When I saw Bella I saw Baby Doe. IMO the brow hairs could have fallen out. The artist worked with what she had. The fullness of the lips also are thinner in the composite. in a DB the mouth opens, the tongue swells and protrudes, the lips curl back... other things. So sorry to be graphic.

But the distance between the eyes, the bridge of the nose, the nostrils and the shape of the "philtrum," the fullness of her face, shape of the chin, her ear lobes- all say Bella to me.

Bearing in mind that the picture of Bella was much younger as far as toddlers and their growth goes, that for me, In the proportions from her forehead to her chin and from ear to ear I see Bella in Baby Doe's composite.

Also bearing in mind they could only guess her age and part of that was the 4T clothing. We always dressed our kids in a size larger since it changes so fast. Yes. she was very nearly 3 when she was found.

I'm kind of thinking that went along with improper disposal of a body. I don't know. I'm not a lawyer nor do I play one on TV, but isn't that abuse of a corpse or something??? Who does that? Just lock them up and throw away the freaking key!

Yes there are so many other charges that should be happening here- movement of a corpse, abuse of a corpse. I remember Brandon Scott lavergen was charged with a lengthy list abd one of them was moving the body

Wow. I just watched the full video from this morning's arraignment. My God, she does look incredibly evil. Terrifying! Yeah, I'm not sure any longer whether MM would be the ring leader in this. Starting to think like some of you others, that she is just as guilty, if not more guilty.

OH...and just feels the need to come out and say it now FFS! WHY, WHY, WHY does it appear everyone is coming out the woodwork now to say how it was with Bella and how they seen this they done that but it appears thy never cared enough to Stand up and report incidents!

What a nightmare, living hell!

And that godmother, if it was my god child and I helped to raise her I would be over HOT coals and finding any little thing to find to report or make sure my poor child was more thank OK, who she does on the tape class us 'ours' as in hers and POSs, was more than ok, wouldn't only just report twice! Something here doesn't sound right IMO, course it's not her fault, I'm just venting because I'm angered at the blasé reaction, this is a child Ffs!

We don't k now if he did not make the call to DCF that got the case opened on Bella that was subsequently closed. But that information is confidential and could be part of the reason he was not named in the arraignment.

JA didn't call police yet so he and RB could spend time together as a FAMILY? Really dude? The only thing that made you two family is dead. She's dead! Because your 'family' cared more about drugs and Johns than her own flesh and blood. Because her living those things more was too shady for you to be around, but OK for your daughter.

Any sympathy for this guy (and there was a bit)...gone. someone needs to put a clamp on his pie hole already.

Mms arms have bandages beneath the shirt - you can see them from beneath the shirt cuffs. He keeps looking at his arm all worried about it. It makes me nervous that one of the escorts didn't have gloves on while holding his arms. Staph infections are nothing to mess around with. Yuck!

As for Rochelle! She's smug and trying not to smile. Infuriating!!!! This woman has no soul.

Yes, the measurements and dimensions of facial features fit Bella, but the age discrepancy in the image was enough to throw people off about the victim being such a young child who they might have known. Bella was still 2.5 when she died -- she did not age anymore by the time her body was found. (Also, MOO)

There were two cases, in 2012 and 2013. Both were closed. I don't think they have anything to do with MM or his friend. Bio dad claims he is the one who called DCF.
