GUILTY MA - Doctors Richard Field, 49, & Lina Bolanos, 38, slain, Boston, 5 May 2017 *Arrest*

Liam Martin of CBS Boston posted a video of the outburst. It's so disturbing I'm not going to link to it, but you can find it in his tweets.

NOW: Bampumim Teixeira has entered the courtroom. He shows his hands in cuffs to our camera. The victims families are in the front row. He shouts at them: “Do you want to know his last words? He said no.” Outburst ensues. @NBC10Boston

BREAKING: Teixeira has been escorted out of the courtroom by court officers. We are waiting for the jury. Judge calls for 5 minute recess. @NBC10Boston

Judge says Teixeira will not be in the courtroom as the jury comes down. “The court finds as a fact that he was unable to control himself.”

Why the heck was this piece of garbage even allowed back in the courtroom? I thought the judge said he had forfeited his right to be in the courtroom after his first outburst?

.@DARollins says her office plans to hold Bampumim Teixeira accountable for the threats he made against prosecutor John Pappas @wbz #wbz

Bampumim Teixeira’s defense attorney Steven Sack declined to comment on the conviction when I asked him about it outside court this afternoon. More on the verdict next at 6 @wbz #WBZ

Again - thanks for posting the tweets scdiv! The trials I watch - it seems the verdict always comes in when I'm asleep!

I just knew the jurors would vote for guilty!! Glad to read that here!

And he dressed so nicely for court too... . I question whether or not someone who looks the way defendant looked, will in fact listen to one thing his own attorney says, because clearly that outfit wasn't the attorney's advice.

Bye bye you vile creature. I cant even begin to imagine the terror this poor couple endured. Hope he is just as vile and mouthy when he gets to the 'Big House" he will be snivelling in the corner crying for Mommy :D

Bampumim Teixeira To Be Sentenced For Killing South Boston Doctors

BOSTON (CBS) — Bampumim Teixeira, the man convicted of murdering two doctors inside their South Boston penthouse, is scheduled to be sentenced Friday.

The double murder trial of Bampumim Teixeira brought to light the final harrowing night of two well-known Boston anesthesiologists who were stabbed to death in their own home in 2017.

Teixeira was convicted of murder and will be sentenced Friday.

[...]
In the last week of the trial, Teixeira threatened Pappas, the prosecutor, telling him, “You better hope I never get out of jail.”

The Suffolk County District Attorney says investigators in her office are investigating the threats.

“Once this investigation is completed we will determine whether additional charges will be brought against Mr. Teixeira. The 300 employees in my office work tirelessly to make the communities in Suffolk County safe,” District Attorney Rachael Rollins said.

“I will never stand idly by if the safety of my employees or our communities is threatened,” Rollins said.

Two consecutive life sentences without parole.

Good riddance.

Man who killed 2 doctors in South Boston sentenced to life in prison
Good riddance indeed!

Such a sadistic, evil creature. I wonder why he chose to torture one, and not the other? I realize both were tortured, but he inflicted so many more injuries on her.

Just such a bizarre case. Seems more like revenge than a robbery.

So many questions... Why did he pick them, out of all the other well off tenants in the building?

He seems like a depraved animal. I think he's beyond redemption. I don't usually believe in the death penalty (more because, and jmo, I respect all views, I think a life behind bars with no possibility of parole is a worse fate than death, to me anyways), but in this case, I think he's just pure evil with no ability to control himself, that I would be in favor if the law allowed it. I don't think prison will even bother him one bit. It's a free place to live and have all his basic needs provided for.

Mike LaCrosse has several tweets today with the victim impact statements. Don't have time to post, but they are on his timeline.

We will never know why he picked this couple. It's just a thought/guess of mine but I could see him being inappropriate with her when he worked at their building. Perhaps just a tad too friendly. Enough to make her uncomfortable but not report him. He likely envied what they had. Relationship and material wise. He may have targeted her simply because she didn't respond to him the way he expected, perhaps she ignored him. It may have fuelled his rage toward her. IMO

What a horrible case. Senseless murder of 2 people who helped so many patients. Killed by a low life .

My question is on the 911 calls they made. Why were police not dispatched on the 911 hangups? I know in my town if some calls 9/11 and gets cut off or hangs up they send an officer out to check. But I lived in a small town so probably a place got Boston dosent have the police manpower.

If the police responded to the first 911 call perhaps they would have gotten there in time to save them. But who knows
