I noticed the same. He may have certain conditions that allow for supervised contact. UGH. He is a pretty memorable individual-someone saw him between Thursday and now I am sure.

Yes & not to mention they aren't supposed to have an FB either...FB rules & national sex offender registry rules.

There are several agencies working on the case from the various news reports, but I haven't seen any contact info given: Mass State Police, Swampscott PD, Salem PD, Lynn PD, Essex County DA and The North Eastern Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council (NEMLEC).

She lives in Swampscott, was last seen at a Rite Aid in Lynn, MA around 5:30 Thursday evening. Her cell phone and ID were found near the Lynn/Salem line. They have a suspect, who is being questioned and was brought in 3 separate times by police. There is record of a phone call between Jaime Mendez and the suspect, but there are conflicting reports if she called him or if he called her.

This article says that her cell phone and other were found near an office park in the area of Technology Way in Salem. Police were searching the area yesterday. On Thursday, after stopping at Rite Aid, she called a girl friend and told him she was with a man and felt uncomfortable. An hour later she called somebody and said she was at the man's house and asked somebody to pick her up. However, she did not give an address.

Looks like from a FB community page (not related to JM) that there was police activity originally thought to be a crime scene in that area but it is unrelated to JM.

I am not sure about posting his FB unless there has been some mainstream media linking him to her disappearance. Actually, I wonder if he is in custody? It seems likely he would be picked up pretty quickly. They have quite a bit to work with if his restrictions prohibit social media, for example.

It is Monday, they reported her Saturday....if they have him, they can only keep him for a certain period of time unless they charge him with something.

News reports said that he was questioned three times (as of last night) and her sister posted something about they had him but let him leave the police station. I don't think he is in custody, yet.
