MA MA - Michael 'Mickey' Brougham, 54, Loudon, 25 June 2010

ONe thing that could be done to, as far as New Hampshire Raceway contacting ticket holders, is to have them ask the ticket holders to scan their photos to see if Mickey shows up in any of them. THat would be one way to know for sure if he was there. Also, could help give a good time line for when he was last seen alive (that is if he was at the race at all.)

BELCHERTOWN – The leader of a weekend search in New Hampshire for missing Belchertown man Michael R. “Mickey” Brougham said Monday he had nothing to report from the large effort and considers searching in New Hampshire to be completed but might have issues to check out in Massachusetts.

Missing Belchertown man's family in emotional, legal limbo

Christmas Day marks six months since a Belchertown man went missing, leaving his family to contemplate the holiday without a man who family members say was a vital contributor to his community and loved ones around the Christmas season.

Michael Brougham, 54, of 175 Jabish St., was last seen by his nephew, driving in his pickup truck in Belchertown on June 25. His wallet, cell phone and watch were found later that weekend at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon, N.H., leading law enforcement officials to speculate that he had made his way to the racetrack before disappearing.

Six months later, no trace of Brougham has been found. An October search by volunteer investigators from across New England of the Loudon area produced no results. Searches in Belchertown have proven equally fruitless.

Could it have been a crime of opportunity in the same area where the running nissan sentra with the toddler was found recently?

That's an interesting thought, but Loudon and Conway/North Conway aren't really that close together.

True, not that close. The distance between North Conway and Loudon is approximately 56 miles, although it always seems like more when driving it.

Brougham Family Still Searching for ‘Mickey’

After her brother Michael, Mickey, Brougham went missing in 2010, it’s the memories that Cindy Brougham keeps close to her heart.

“A wonderful person and a wonderful brother, a loving son,” said an emotional Cindy Brougham. “It’s what you have to keep in your heart always as you lose someone.”

In the past two years family members have put blue ribbons on the trees of the Belchertown town common to serve as a reminder of the one they lost. Cindy says even when the ribbons have fallen off other residents have repinned them to show their support.
