Cindy Anthony arrived at the OC jail's visitation center despite being told her daughter would not accept a request to see her.

Casey told jail officials around 6:50 a.m. that she did not want to see her mother for the 9 a.m. visit.

Defense attorney Baez advised Casey Friday not to accept her mother's visit, said attorney Mark Lippman.

While Cindy Anthony was notified ahead of time that the visit would not happen, she drove to the visitation center this morning and appeared to deposit money into her daughter's commissary account.

LARGO — Somewhere in Florida on Monday, lawyers will start picking a jury in the high-profile murder case against Casey Anthony.

Pinellas County court officials have been preparing the criminal courthouse on 49th Street as if something very big is coming.

The building's largest courtroom has been cleared of other proceedings for early next week. A healthy number of people have been summoned for jury duty on Monday and Tuesday. And media parking spaces outside the courthouse have been cordoned off.

Pinellas-Pasco Chief Judge Thomas McGrady refused to comment.

"Any information on where that case is going to go has to come from Orlando," he said.

Pinellas Clerk of the Circuit Court Ken Burke referred a reporter to Chief Orange-Osceola Judge Belvin Perry

Judge Belvin Perry has a plan to find an impartial jury for the Casey Anthony trial, but attorneys may not agree.

Judge Perry has chosen a county outside of Central Florida to choose an impartial jury.

He has kept the exact site of jury selection a closely-guarded secret, saying he does not want any pretrial publicity in the area, and ordering that the location be kept secret until 8 a.m. Monday.

Highly publicized murder of Caylee Anthony rivets, enrages
"Snip" 12:20 AM, May. 8, 2011

"The attention on the Anthony case has been going on for a while, and all the statements and all the evidence creates a lot of buzz," said Brevard County Assistant State Attorney Julia Lynch, head of the sex crimes and child abuse division.

"Bottom line is there was a poor, defenseless child. In cases involving children, it's worse when they are hurt at the hands of their mother or caregiver."
Anthony, 25, is charged with killing her 2-yr-old daughter, Caylee. Anthony did not report her daughter missing until a month later, and the child's remains were found in woods near the family home that December.

It's Pinellas County: Casey Anthony heads west for jury selection
"Snip" By Jacqueline Fell, Reporter
Last Updated: Monday, May 09, 2011 7:39 AM

Here's his plan: Judge Perry will take about 100 people who have already been summoned and will be in court at 8 a.m. Monday.

He will then randomly divide that group into small groups of 10, and separate the groups into different rooms. This is to make sure people are not talking about the case, and essentially tainting or tampering with one another.

Judge Perry will then call the potential jurors in, one by one, and ask them each four questions.
