P.I. Says Partner Knew Where Caylee Anthony's Body Was

A blockbuster development unfolded Wednesday in the Casey Anthony case. A private investigator, who worked with George and Cindy Anthony, just told Eyewitness News his partner knew where Caylee's body was and their search for it was on camera.

When the detectives left with Hoover's ten-minute video of the scene from November, they seemed encouraged.

"Can you tell me whether this helps you move forward in the case?" WFTV reporter Kathi Belich asked Sgt. John Allen.

"Very helpful," he said.

A small-time alt-rock band from Orlando, Fla., is attempting to turn the tragic death of Caylee Anthony into fame and fortune for itself through a macabre PR stunt.

Biteboy, a group that lists convicted felon/boy-band impresario Lou Pearlman as a consultant, has penned a tune calling for a confession from Casey Anthony, Caylee&#8217;s mother and the prime suspect in the 2-year-old&#8217;s killing.

Casey Anthony Forced To Appear At Court Hearing

Originally, Casey did not show up for the hearing, even though state statue requires defendants to attend all pre-trial hearings unless they make a written request to waive their right to attend, but Judge Strickland ordered her pulled from her cell.

Judge Strickland explained to her, from now on, if she wants to waive her right to attend she must put it in writing and it will be under the court's discretion.

Judge Strickland decided to put them in Jose Baez's custody and Baez agreed the photographs would not be used for profit and a secure website will be put into place so that only authorized people will have access.

A January 15 status hearing was canceled and a trial date has not been set. Jose Baez wants the case to move forward as soon as possible.

Attorney Jose Baez doesn't want Casey to speak on the record before the criminal case, because he's concerned she could say something incriminating. WFTV's legal analyst said the ruling Thursday wasn't just a win for the defense.

The defense and the prosecution have reached a compromise regarding the more than 800 photos of Caylee Anthony&#8217;s remains.

At the beginning of the hearing the prosecution asked that Casey Anthony be brought to the courtroom to verbally confirm that she was aware of her right to attend hearings but chose to waive it.

"They will wait as long as they have to if it means protecting photographs and images of Caylee's remains," Attorney Brad Conway said.

Conway, the attorney representing Caylee's grandparents, said the toddler's funeral has been put on hold for now. He said it is important to George and Cindy Anthony to support the state's motion to limit what Casey Anthony's defense team can do with photos of the remains.

A judge has agreed to place some restrictions on how autopsy photos of Caylee Anthony are viewed by defense attorneys and experts for her mother, Casey Anthony, who is charged with murdering the toddler.

An Orange County judge ruled on Thursday that Casey Anthony, who is charged with killing her daughter, Caylee, cannot be deposed from jail for a civil lawsuit -- for now.

Orange County Judge Jose Rodriguez ruled that Anthony can answer written questions from jail. Attorneys for Zenaida Gonzalez can also choose to wait for an appropriate time to conduct a videotaped deposition, Rodriguez said.

The 11am hearing will be held before Circuit Court Judge Jose Rodriquez. It is not believed that Casey Anthony will be present in court for this hearing.

At 1:30 p.m., a criminal case against Casey Anthony will be heard by Circuit Judge Stan Strickland. He is expected to rule on motions filed by Casey's defense team on Jan. 7.
Judge Strickland is expected to hear both sides of the argument this afternoon.

Casey Anthony will not be deposed from jail in a defamation lawsuit. Circuit Court Judge Jose Rodriguez ruled Thursday that Casey Anthony can answer written questions from jail rather than face a videotaped deposition behind bars. The defamation lawsuit was filed by Zenaida Fernandez Gonzalez She says she was defamed by Casey Anthony when the mother told police in July that a nanny named Zenaida Gonzalez had kidnapped her daughter, Caylee.

Judge Strickland then excused himself to review case law. Within a few minutes he returned to the courtroom and said that she needs to appear in court for the hearing and for all future hearings. She was transported from the jail to the court room where she was sworn in by Judge Strickland. She then stayed in court for the remainder of the hearing.

Anthony's appearance in court today marks the first public appearance since being indicted Oct. 14 on several charges, including first-degree murder. She was in the courtroom for about an hour. She is now headed back to the Orange County Jail, where she is being held without bond.

She wore a dark blue jail-issued jumpsuit. She said little. When Anthony was sworn in, she raised her right hand and gave her name: "Casey Marie Anthony." When Strickland asked if she understood the motions being discussed today, she said, "Yes."

Only WFTV Eyewitness News got an exclusive interview Wednesday with Dominic Casey's colleague, who reached out to detectives with what he knew. But Thursday, Mr. Casey told WFTV reporter Kathi Belich none of it is true.

The Anthonys' private investigator, Dominic Casey, told Belich Thursday he has now spoken with detectives about his November trips to the scene a month before Caylee's remains were found there. Mr. Casey denies he had inside information about that location.

3 teens say they were at the area and were told by police is was a bomb.
I seen the police reports late last night from the Nov 26th document dump. Then I did not think much of it because I did not see a news report or a discussion on the board. NG did not mention this just the PI's and the psyhic.

Kronk's attorney, David Evans, told Local 6 News on Friday that it is likely his client will likely give the interview Monday or Tuesday.Evans would not say which network would conduct the interview. It's customary for networks to pay expenses for its guests -- which Evans said would happen -- but he would not say if Kronk was being paid for the interview.

"Roy Kronk lost his wife to cancer last year, and that battle brought him down to his last dime," said Evans, who added that he would like to find a way to get his client some compensation.

Kronk's only comments since the discovery were made three weeks ago when he held a news conference and issued a brief statement.

While not much has been seen on George and Cindy Anthony in public since Caylee's remains were found and identified, Conway said Caylee's grandma, Cindy has been pretty busy behind the scenes this week.

"She's finally been able to start working on some plans in regards to the public service,&#8221; Conway said. &#8220;Music, flowers, possible venues for it.&#8221;

While nothing is certain yet, Conway said the Anthony's have made one thing clear; Leonard Padilla, the bounty hunter who was in and out of the case on several occasions, will not be invited or let in.

Miller added that his primary concern is about the private information collected from and about volunteers saying.

"This is just not one of those things I want Baez to have is all the information of 4,000 plus volunteers that came out there,&#8221; Miller said. &#8220;I am having a huge problem with that."

Miller said he wants to at least be able to redact information to protect the people who volunteer. If not he said it could set a precedent all over the country and he said that would deter much needed volunteers from helping in future searches.

According to Miller Hoover approached a volunteer searcher on November 8th.

"He actually told (searcher) Bill Todd that nobody could know he was out there,&#8221; Miller said. &#8220;And it had to be kept a big secret that he is working as security for the Anthony&#8217;s and if the Anthony&#8217;s ever found out he was out there his job would be in jeopardy."
