:welcome:

And bless you for helping with the fundraiser!

it'd be the least i could do. i have a 7-year-old boy myself and i can't imagine him never seeing me again. i stopped @ our local shell gas station on my way into work this morning and her missing sign was still posted on the bulletin board by the door... it's just so awful.

hopefully there will be a big turn out, funeral costs alone are ridiculous, not to mention just the everyday necessities.

This is still completely puzzling, as to how Amy got involved!! Why her! :waitasec:

He may be able to "rationalize" in some way the killing of his girlfriend but has absolutely no real reason for killing Amy. (I mean rationalize in his mind...)

yes that definitely makes sense -that thought flashed my mind but I couldn't word it thank u!

That could be so true. I was also thinking he might try to say Tonya killed Amy then turned the gun on him and he had to kill Tonya in self defense.

Of course we all know better!

Tonight at 6: Parents of Tonya Howarth Speak to FOX 17

In an exclusive interview, the murder victims parents say the suspect had a history of abusing their daughter

2:21 p.m. EST, January 28, 2011

Tonight at 6, the parents of murder victim Tonya Howarth are speaking exclusively with FOX 17 News.

After watching the news closely about the disappearance of Amy Sue Henslee, they had no idea their daughter was connected. They didn't know until this morning that their daughter was a murder victim in the case.

They're speaking out about how they want their daughter to be remembered, her long and often violent relationship with the suspect, and the children she leaves behind.

Her parents call her a "very loving person, who will be greatly missed."

This explains the delay in the presser we were all waiting for in the wee hours last night.

I think they had confirmation somehow last night (since the daughter was talking about it), but they didn't want to name her until the parents were notified - which must have taken longer since they kept pushing the time further and further back. I'm sure they didn't want the parents to hear it from the press or have a friend call them and give them condolences, kwim?

MOO

Yes I agree this is what is so frustrating to me as well!!
I've read a few posts suggesting Amy and Tonya may have been friends.. but from what I have read about them they seemed like two very different women.
The two couples seem like complete opposites IMO, I wonder how much they socialised?

At a news conference, authorities confirmed both women had died of multiple gunshot wounds. Investigators believe both died at the same time sometime Monday morning.

Geez - multiple gunshot wounds?? Where they target practice?

Maybe he caught them trying to leave at the door. Perhaps they were on a lower step and he was above them in the trailer. The multiple gunshots leads me to belive rage. What absolute horror. Unbelieveable!

overkill or tortue?
Did he kill Amy because she was a witness?
Was Amy going to help them in some way?

This makes me scared to open my door even to people I know

If they were killed on monday morning it sound premeditated to me. JMO

I thought they recovered a shotgun, so when they say multiple gunshot wounds, not sure they if it means multiple shotgun wounds or just multiple shot wounds from a single shotgun firing.

HARTFORD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - Soil near a trailer in the woods off County Road 687 was disturbed. Trees display gouges where crime scene technicians dug and found the bodies of two women late Thursday.
Amy Henslee and Tonya Howarth were shot to death, investigators believe, on Monday. Junior Lee Beebe was arrested and arraigned for their deaths Friday.

The murders left neighbors like Don Tanner wondering about everything.
"We probably were sitting there in the house, enjoying life, and they were across the street killing people," he told 24 Hour News 8. "It's hard to understand. Very hard to understand." Tanner said he'd seen Beebe and Howarth on the property from time to time, stacking firewood and going into and out of the trailer.
Junior Beebe was using the property - owned by his uncle Phillip Beebe - for his business. Howarth stayed there occassionally.
"You just don't think about living close to anybody like that," Tanner said. "We like it here because it's peaceful. It's out, we see deer, coyote and stuff. You just don't think anything could possibly happen like that close by, but you never know, do you?"

Where was the dad he "takes care of" at while this was going on? Who was taking care of him....did he call in a replacement so he could do these sick things?

look at photo 12...doesn't his hand look a little too close to her arse? Creepy.

That's exactly what I thought...a little overly friendly for your husband's cousin. Wonder how the husband felt about that...
