Thanks for the verification, I'll put it on my calendar so I don't forget. Based on the court record it looks like they are still having a problem getting the transcripts so that may be why the hearing was moved. A little heads up would have been nice but I guess the court doesn't take us trial watchers into consideration.

Thanks for the update about the hearing being rescheduled. I completely forgot about the court appearance yesterday as I was following the rampage shooting in CA. I wonder if BB has returned to his former cell in the prison? IIRC, Judge Evans had suggested he stay locally so he didn't have to travel back & forth from Milan (I think that's where he's housed).
 
Bashara is here in Milan?? I did not realize that. I used to wave at Kwame, now I can wave at Bob as we pass by.

No access to Michigan offenders' site, but this article suggests that BB was housed at Oaks Correctional Facility in Manistee last January. Not as close to you as Milan ;)

I hope prosecutors track Bob's cell phone, internet, visitor records, etc. because I suspect BB has put JG up to this with threats and/or payouts. Joe Gentz doesn't have the mental ability to alter his story on his own. Not buying this at all. :moo:

Considering BB is already sentenced for the death plot against Gentz, it doesn't surprise me at all that he "changed his story." I put zero weight on the jail snitch and the signed statement. Let's just hope BB didn't get smart in how he planned this caper.

Let's face it, the timing is pleasantly convenient for BB, who has yet to undergo cross examination from his attorney.

I hope the prosecution team can quash this latest business before Feb. Darn, I can't find the date at the moment, but it's coming up soon enough!

According to a news report I just heard on WDIV-TV, there will be a hearing on April 5, 2016. I cannot find anything about it, though. It may have to do with Bashara's attorney filing a writ to have Gentz appear in court due to Gentz changing his testimony, but I still find no confirmation of a date.


Bashara’s attorney filed a motion for a writ requesting to have convicted murderer Joe Gentz brought from prison to testify before the court in the hope that Gentz's new testimony would lead to a new trial for Bashara.

I am fearing this convicted murderer will get an ew trial because Gentz is too damn stupid.
 
Nothing surprises me anymore, but I hope he doesn't get another trial. He will still be found guilty .... and waste our money and time.

Judge Vonda Evans is holding a motion hearing Tuesday regarding whether a handyman who said he killed Jane Bashara after being ordered to do it by her husband will be brought in to testify...

Today's hearing (about 1 hr. 10 minutes). I haven't watched it yet, but skipped to the end and there is a contentious discussion regarding the possibility of prosecutorial misconduct. Judge Evans is her same wonderful self, telling defense they cannot bring more of these nonsense motions, this was a complete waste of time.

Next hearing may may be next week, but I can't confirm it yet. From chatter at the end of video, after Judge left room, it appears there will be a session on the 12th.
