Family clings to hope Morenci brothers may return
It has been two years since Andrew, Alexander, and Tanner Skelton vanished from this Lenawee County community near the Ohio-Michigan border.
Reminders of the boys, who were ages, 9, 7, and 5, respectively, when they were last seen on Thanksgiving Day, 2010, are scattered throughout the town of 2,500. Faded yellow homecoming ribbons wrap around trees and light poles, and posters offering rewards for information about their whereabouts hang in the doors and windows of offices and shops.

Those dear little lads...to think the father is still sitting there holding the knowledge of where there they are, putting so many thru the heartache of not knowing. I have so wished someone would have stumbled across them by now, so the family could have some peace.... I still do think of them:(

3 years later, mother of missing Skelton boys remains hopeful

It's hard to believe it will be three years this Thanksgiving since the Skelton brothers went missing from Morenci. That day, Andrew, Alexander and Tanner Skelton vanished without a trace.

As their father sits in prison refusing to say what he's done with them, there's now been a shift in the case with Michigan State Police steeping in and taking over the investigation.

The boys' mother, Tanya Zuvers, has come a long way in three years. She's vowing not to let what her ex-husband has done force her to the bottom of a bottle, or worse. She has hope and wants you to as well.

Morenci mother still hopes for sons' return after three years

From The Detroit News: http://www.detroitnews.com/article/20131226/METRO06/312260046#ixzz2oaYpifHw

Tanya Zuvers hopes for the best, but is bracing for the worst.

The 47-year-old Morenci woman prays her three boys — Andrew, 12, Alexander, 10, and Tanner Skelton, 8 — missing since Thanksgiving 2010, are found alive.

She also said she’s prepared for news her young sons are dead.

“As their mom, I still have that hope that they’re still alive, but I know the reality is it’s very possible they’re not,” she said.

“We’re still looking for the clues, but my reality is there’s a very good possibility my sons are no longer alive on this earth. It took me a long time to come to that realization.”
