Yes, maybe she was. I wonder if there might be more indictments in the future.
 
Just wow. This guys rap sheet is the size of a book. Jessica is dead because the justice department never made him serve even half of the time on 20 different crimes and probation violations. Wow indeed.

Batesville man’s story of disability rebuffed by mother in court

A young Batesville man changed his mind about being disabled during Batesville Municipal Court Wednesday, after Judge Bill McKenzie told him his hefty fine.

Quintin Tellis, 3xxx Hwy. 6, Batesville, entered guilty pleas to disorderly conduct-failure to comply, resisting arrest and possession of marijuana in a vehicle.

The judge told Tellis his fine of $906 would be due in 30 days.

“Do you work?” asked McKenzie.

“I get a disability check,” Tellis answered.

“Why?” asked the judge.

“Because of my back.”

“Can I work my fines off?”

“If you’re disabled you can’t work, right?” McKenzie stated.

Tellis’ mother approached the bench and told the judge he wasn’t disabled and needed to work his fines off on the city’s work program because he does not have a job.

“So you just lied to me, son?” asked McKenzie.

“We don’t have room on the city work program,” the judge added.

MONROE-- There's new information in the murder of a former ULM student near the campus of ULM.

Police say they have a suspect, Quintin Tellis, behind bars.

"We have him charged with other crimes associated with her death, such as using her access card. We have pictures of him using that card," says Chief Quentin Holmes, Monroe Police Department.

Police are waiting for additional evidence before formally charging him with murder.

Exactly. And sounds like this monster has killed @ least one more person since Jessica. So very sad. On the bright side, they have his azz now. May he burn in hell!

Monroe police say the University of Louisiana at Monroe alumna found dead late Saturday was stabbed, most likely by someone she knew.

Police identified the victim Wednesday as Meing-Chen Hsiao, 34, of Taiwan.

Quinton Tellis very likely was on a trajectory not unlike many other serial killers. Remember Champion and Darby said early on the perp was a local who had committed this type of crime before. If only Tellis had been apprehended immediately after Herron Road;foreign exchange student Meing Hsiao would still be very much alive. :sigh:

Bet ya $10 if the fbi would have just waterboarded auntie sha sha, they would have gotten that name months ago!!
I hope that everyone who gave statements about the "partay" that did NOT mention this guy's name, also gets indicted as well.

Glad that Jessica and the Chambers family are receiving justice.. Sadly, Jessica Chambers, wasn't likely predator Quinton V. Tellis's first unsuspecting innocent victim taken, imo.. It is such a tragedy that Meing-Chen Hsiao's life was so brutally taken before he was finally apprehended..
