Thursday and Friday, prosecutors argued that there is enough probable cause to charge James Bradley with the first degree murder of Shannon Rippy Vannewkirk. Judge Sandra Ray, sided with the prosecution ruling that there is "more than enough probably cause" to move forward with the murder case.
Throughout the course of the two day hearing, District Attorney Ben David pointed to Bradley several times as a suspect in the homicide of Elisha Tucker...
Her body was found on a farm where Bradley worked off of Hoover Road in Pender County. Originally, authorities believed her remains were Vannewkirk's, but later learned they were Tucker's.
Testimony in court explained that Bradley was one of only a few people who had access to the land. In order to get to the area, someone would have to get past a gate with a combination lock. Bradley's former employer, Steve Mott, testified the combination number to that gate was printed in the visor of Bradley's work truck which he drove often.
We've obtained the medical examiner's report from the death of Elisha Tucker and it still leaves many unanswered questions about what happened to her...
The ME's report reveals that Tucker had traumatic head, chest and neck injuries; however, the report does not list a specific cause of death.
According to the report, the body was found in black garbage bags feet below the surface.
