Both of the children's fathers are handsome IMO (I saw a video of the oldest child's father, and that makes me glad that he is still very involved in her life). Summerfield was a very accomplished football player, a medical professional, handsome, etc., which just goes to show everyone that domestic violence knows no bounds. An abuser can be anyone.

Are you guys saying he's not purposely trying to look under his eyebrows at the camera? (Like, he has a physical issue that makes his eyes look like that?)

I just thought he had attitude. My 5 year old does this. She looks up at you from "under" her eyebrows -- we call it her "crazy eyes" look. She only does it when she wants to make a statement -- she's mad, or exasperated, or something -- her hands are also on her hips at these times.

Now you guys are making me wonder if she needs medical attention.... yikes!

No, he's not. It's just a myth really...the myth of the sanpaku eyes. Robert Pattison (Twilight guy/vampire) has that attribute.

I agree, I actually think he's gorgeous and it's ridiculous to keep using that same odd, psycho looking photo when he doesn't look like that at all. I'm sure he did while he was choking the life out of those children's mommy tho. MOO

More details about previous DV incidents. According to a 2009 warrant, Summerfield grabbed LJ by the throat, choked her, pinned her to the kitchen table, then dragged her by the neck into a hallway.

Earlier in 2009, he also locked her out of the house while she was in the nude.

Summerfield was found guilty of the domestic violence charge and was sentenced to 60 days in jail. All 60 of the days were suspended, according to Ashland Municipal Court records. He was sentenced to one year of probation in connection to crime.

No wonder she was afraid of him.

Police in Ohio have found Summerfield’s cell phone and were seeking a search warrant Tuesday for its contents. They also have three surveillance photos of Summerfield’s grey Honda at an Ashland Bank at about 10 a.m. Sunday.

He was alone in the car.

“They’re not great,” said Capt. Carl Richert of the Ashland County Sheriff’s Office. “But they showed his face in the window.”

The last anyone heard from Jackenheimer was when she called a friend from Salvo late July 3. The conversation continued past midnight into July 4, Richert said.

“At that point, everything was okey dokey,” he said.

No, Nags Head is not a private area. It is on the Outer Banks of N.C. and is quite popular as a tourist destination, especially in the summer.

Richmond is a bit early to stop in a 12 hour trip. It is about 4 and a half hours from Cape Hatteres to richmond .

I was just there in april so I am confident of the time.

I think that him stopping that early in the trip is questionable so him hiding the body near here seems like it could be a possiblity.

Or off 64 on his way into richmond. The OBX doesnt seem the ideal place to hide a body to me. Right now I think they are getting hit with t storms and lighting plus wind.. which shifts the sand everywhere. And the brush isnt thick .

In the very first article I read when this story broke must say there was something that struck me as odd.. now hearing the 13 yr old is autistic I now understand what struck me as od..it was from one of the family members that was relaying to the media what the daughter had told them about the last time she saw her mom.. the person said the child said it was the day before fireworks when she saw mommy.. the verbiage and very basic and generalized statement immediately led me to believe that the child was llikely special needs. .but upon my seeing the pic with mom of their walking down a pier I didn't detect anything special needs.. tho it was from behind..

Nonetheless it does now make sense that she is autistic and exactly why her words didnt seem age appropriate.. i believe she likely did ask where mom was and sounds as tho Nate told her that mom had gone ghost crab hunting and never returned(i haven't a clue what ghost crab hunting is) ..so while im sure the young girl was very confused It'd not at all be difficult for him to easily deceive her to the point that she'd likely quit asking questions.. heart breaking..and that pier picture of the two of them is even more heartbreaking knowing the dynamic and likely end result to this..

One other thing regarding that same photo I know that some were searching for her instagram acct ...if I'm not mistaken not too long ago Facebook actually bought instagram thereby making them one entity of fb...not avid facebooker here but thought that may possibly why an instagram acct could not be located for lJ

I just heard a preview of headlines for tonight's news and they mentioned something of interest was found that may help the case. I will try to stay up for the report at 11pm. Exactly what I was thinking when I heard they stopped in Richmond. Depending on the route he took, I would say 41/2 is a good guess with a stop or two .

I live 2 hours south along the coast near Emerald Isle. Today is the first day that there has been much news about this.

Hopefully, she is found soon. So sad for her children.

I am from Ashland, Ohio & new here. I came across this message board as i was searching for any news on Lynn. I just want everyone on the board here to know that Lynn truly is a beautiful person & wonderful mother. She made a very poor choice to go on this vacation with Nate due to heir past DV history & believe me, many of us here wish she wouldn't have gone now, of course. We here (family & friends) know & realize things look very bleak at the moment and the more time that passes, the odds grow slimmer that Lynn will return alive. Some of us do have hope, no matter how slim it may be tho because we love her. Until she is found we have to cling to that, as she we do for many of us here. I too believe a big key to all this is the time spent at the OBX for 2 days after her disappearance & the "quick overnight stop" in Richmond. I find that very odd as the person posted earlier did. Stopping after 4 1/2 hrs on a 12 hr journey is odd. Especially if he did what he told his brother he had done, then stayed in NC another 2 days one would definitely think he would be ready to get as far away, as quickly as possible. If i were police, i would certainly put some focus on that stop in VA. Anyways, just my 2 cents. Also, yes her daughter is autistic. She has communicated info with the police & i believe she is now working with a professional autistic health specialist that was brought in to maybe be able to get more info from her.

Regardless of the outcome, please pray for our small town of Ashland that has been rocked from this tragedy. Also pray for Lynn, her children & her family. They are good people & it pains us all here to see what they are going thru...you folks see it thru TV cameras, we see it all with our own eyes....very sad

They have reported finding her cell phone recently but have kept it as found in an "undisclosed" location as of yet. They found Nate's cell phone here in Ashland & even announced what street but have kept the location hers was found quiet as of yet. Did they happen to mention in that preview where this item of interest was found? I have a feeling it was maybe found in Virginia is why i am asking.
