Seems that she had been pretty depressed for many years......a lot that hasn't been touched upon that drove this poor woman to tears.

A New job, new surroundings, yet depressed to tears?

Thirty-three-year-old Jennifer Andersen of Omaha disappeared without a trace on March 9th, more than four months ago. Her family and friends still have not given up hope.

"I think I'd just tell her we love her and we miss her and we're just ready for her to be back,” says Amanda Harrington, friends with Jennifer since college. When Amanda only had two bridesmaids in her wedding, one was her sister and the other was Jennifer.

"She was going through some issues at the time, but she seemed to be dealing with them and even while going through those issues, this still seemed very uncharacteristic of her,” says Amanda.

Despite all the searches, the vigils and the Facebook page, the only sign of Jennifer since that night was found in the parking lot of Rick's Boatyard Café by the Missouri River. Her car was found parked there locked, the keys gone, but her purse still inside.

Missouri River was searched, but I wonder how thoroughly? If this wasn't foul play, I suspect she may have jumped into the river and hope it is searched using a dive team extensively. Otherwise, why so quick to rule out an abduction? Maybe she left a note.

Odd that there isn't much more info, and seems to be absolutely no leads. I pray that she is at peace where ever she may be...

Search Continues for Missing Omaha Woman

Search and rescue crews hit the banks of the Missouri river looking for Jennifer Andersen.

The 33 year old, nurse at Methodist Hospital, disappeared March of last year.

To this day her there has been no activity on her cell phone, credit cards or bank account but volunteers are still holding onto hope.

Anderson was last seen 10 months ago at her apartment. She left a note for her parents saying she had to go for a drive, but never returned. Her car was found near Rick's Boatyard Cafe a few days later, but Andersen was nowhere to be found.

"It is assumed at this point that she went into the river, it's an assumption we don't know for sure," says Ginsberg.

Search crews are determined to keep looking until Andersen is found.
