NEXT FLIGHT TO EINDHOVEN POSSIBLY MONDAY

RTL-Nieuws reports
http://www.rtlnieuws.nl/nieuws/binnenland/vondsten-rampplek-vanavond-nog-naar-charkov

The findings that were made yesterday and today at the crash site of MH17, will be transported tonight with a refrigerated truck to Kharkov.

They will be brought to the logistics and facility center, the head of the repatriation mission Pieter-Jaap Aalbersberg says. The DNA material and personal belongings that were stored in the morgue in Donetsk will be transported in this truck.

In Kharkiv Dutch, Australian and Malaysian experts are ready to carry out an initial forensic scan on the salvaged remains. This will be done in the same manner as with the remains that were previously flown to The Netherlands. After that, at the earliest ON Monday, the flight to Eindhoven will follow, according to Aalbersberg.

DONETSK ROUTE REMAINS DANGEROUS

Jaap van Deurzen, reporter for RTL Nieuws:

Translation:

"Donetsk route" remains dangerous

"The Dutch researchers are now staying in Soledar and that's a good thing: a team of OSCE that is still in Donetsk could not reach the crash site today."
On the road between Donetsk and the disaster area heavy fighting took place again today.
At one of the checkpoints of the separatists, it became clear that it was no longer safe to continue.
A large part of the area around the crash site is still in the hands of the pro-Russian rebels.
The fighting between the army and the Ukrainian separatists causes columns of black smoke above the fields.
Reporter Jaap van Deurzen was unable to travel further. He reported while shots were fired in the area around him.
The investigators have moved to a building complex in Soledar, because it became increasingly difficult for them to reach the crash site over the route from Donetsk.
Their new base is further away from the crash site than the one in Donetsk, but in order to reach the site, they no longer need to make detours.

TIMELINE OF BUK MISSILE TRANSPORT ON JULY 17

The Daily Beast reports:

MH17 Missile Can't Hide From These Internet Sleuths

The man who tracked Assad's chemical weapons with the help of the public (*) sleuths out the missile launcher that probably downed MH17.

"Over the last two weeks I’ve documented the various open source information that has revealed key pieces of information about the Buk Missile Launcher linked to the downing of flight MH17. Now, using that information, I believe it’s possible to construct a timeline of events on the ground in Ukraine on July 17th that can be evidenced using a variety of open source information.

To begin with, lets review the photographs and videos of the Buk Missile Launcher which appear to have been taken on the day of the attack, in chronological order. All times are approximate."

Rebels executing civilians. And not just innocent civilians who are in the line of fire. Yes, we would have never known they were doing this unless the world's attention was focused on the Ukraine at this time. jmo

Couldn't agree more. It also sheds more light on why the victims of MH17 were desecrated as they were - these "terrorists" just do not place any value on human life. The victims, it appears, were just collateral damage in their ensuing war.

It appears none of them do when you're witless & careless & cruel enough to post a pic of yourself on Facebook or whatever with your purloined mascara that just fell out if the sky & landed in your waiting out-stretched hand or some such. Aren't you just the lucky thing?

Everyone is shooting at everyone & everything is on or off the table. It seems as if many of the residents truly care, but some of them are blank souls, mostly the 'gangsta' soldiers & their chicks, molls ?? What does one call them now.? It's so hard to condemn all of the people there for the actions of some insensitive louts.

Yes, some of the townsfolk do appear to be normal people, probably as upset that there is a war going on around them as they are that a passenger jet fell into their fields killing all aboard. Those are the ones placing flowers where bodies lay. Then there are the heartless ones, the rebels or whatever they are called, who loot the victims' belongings and gloat over their new-found treasures which belonged to the deceased.

Meanwhile Australia has also ruled out the use of drones to scour the MH17 crash site after reports the international monitoring team had requested the option.

Special envoy Angus Houston released a statement last night confirming drones would not be used amid fears it could inflame the volatile situation on the ground with Russian separatists. The OSCE had requested the use of drones last week.

“We would like to clarify our current position on the use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in the search of the MH17 crash site,” he said.

“The crash site covers a large amount of territory and encompasses very difficult terrain. While UAVs are very important tools, we understand that in the present environment the use of UAVs at the crash site could lead to a misunderstanding.

“Accordingly, unmanned aerial vehicles or drones will not be used at the MH17 crash site.”

"MH17 investigators are ramping up their search for human remains, with sniffer dogs now seen moving across the crash area of the downed Malaysia Airlines plane in eastern Ukraine.

As Australian Federal Police (AFP) and their Dutch counterparts find a body, a military ambulance is called in to assist with the collection.

Specialist divers are also searching water holes and rivers in the region."

As hard as this is to consider, those dogs & their trainers give me hope.....

"As shelling was heard in the distance, some 40 villagers from Grabove on the edge of the site gathered around a wooden cross to hold a service for an Orthodox saint’s day.

A wreath decorated with purple roses and dedicated “to the victims of the disaster” by the residents of the nearest town was propped up next to the cross, along with soft toys.

“Are you scared? We’re scared too, ” said Svetlana, holding a bunch of yellow gladioli, a white scarf on her head as the chanted prayer of the priest mixed with the distant rumble of firing.

In a sign of commemoration, someone left a candle in a red-glass holder on one of the metal fragments."

The memorial service will coincide with a national day of mourning.

A national memorial service for the Australian victims of the downed flight MH17 will be held in Melbourne next Thursday (7th August), coinciding with a national day of mourning.

Flags on all Australian government buildings will be flown at half-mast on Thursday, and an interdenominational memorial service will be held at St Patrick’s cathedral in Melbourne from 10.30am. The ceremony will be open to the public.

“The service will honour those who have lost their lives and seek to support those who have been bereaved,” Abbott said in a statement.

“All Australians mourn the loss of flight MH17. There were 298 innocent people on this aircraft and their deaths offend our sense of justice. We grieve for all, but particularly for the 38 men, women and children who called Australia home.

Our hearts go out to all their families. We will support them through the difficult times ahead – 23 million Australians share the sadness of those who mourn.”

A sniffer dog zigzagged swiftly across a field overgrown with grass as police experts in blue uniforms fanned out to methodically work their way across a debris-strewn field in eastern Ukraine.
In the middle distance the boom of sporadic shelling disturbed the quiet, but the investigators focused on the ground as they occasionally crouched down to pack objects into bags.
This was the second day of the stalled international hunt for remains and clues at the crash site of downed Malaysia Airlines flight MH17, with fragments still lying in wheat fields and flower-dotted meadows in rebel-held territory.
