Identified! NJ - Upper Freehold Twp, Child 479UFNJ, 5-9, Mar'05 - Jon-Niece Jones

Never mind, I think the height and weight differences are way off, unless they were approximations for Iumila's poster. :(

Just a little note about the black sneakers , usually bought in the fall and winter months. (For girls)
Nike Air Force One sneakers aren't cheap either. $35.00 up to $50.00

Did anyone ever find out or here a follow up on the remains possibly being

Iumila Vasquez?

I was looking through cases and never seen a follow up on that possible match........

My 6 year old wears a size 9 and my 5 yr old wears a size 8, but they are small for their ages. So I would guess that the child could be between 4-7 or somewhere in that age range. I cannot see a 9 yr old wearing that small a shoe. My almost 9 yr old is small also (50 lbs 4'4") and he still wears a size 2.

Yeah that doesnt seem to fit. My 9 year old son has big feet and he wears a size 5.

My grandson is 2 and wears a size 7 There are childrens sizes and infants. If this shoe belonged to the child it was a small size for a 5 - 9 year old.

Additionally, the site does list some new info, so I'll just repost everything below. There are photos of the shoes and clothing, as well as composites from NCMEC on the page.

Case History
The victim was located in a rural Upper Freehold woods. The child's skull and bones were found off Route 526 in Clayton Park.
There was no evidence of trauma on the skeletal remains.
A sneaker and teeth appear to have burns and may have been set afire to conceal evidence. She was probably from an urban area.

At least now we have an estimated time of death, so we can try searching for girls that went missing those years!

Someone sent me a message on MySpace asking if this UID could possibly be Lenoria Jones. I'm not sure if circumstances of Lenoria's disappearance or the location make that likely, though. The dates are also pretty far apart, but Lenoria disappeared in 1995 at age 3, and estimated date of death is as early as 2001. Lenoria would have been 9, and that fits in the age range. I just wanted to get opinions from you guys here and see what you think. My opinion right now...unlikely but possible??

I Think this is unlikely as well . I do think this child has good chance at being ID'ed by getting media exposure. And getting her picture out there I know somewhere somebody is asking about this child. The soles of those shoes look pretty new. Air force 1's arent sold in all store's either.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Air_Force_1_(shoe) So I searched for a shoe to find when it was made and found this. http://images.google.com/imgres?img...=/images?q=air+force+1+black&gbv=2&hl=en&sa=X So i went farter with my search and found thishttp://niketalk.yuku.com/topic/13987/t/Nike-Release-Dates-2005-UPDATED.html And found you can search search the years and exact dates these shoes where released . So The Le could narrow down where shoe was from(or where the shoes came from) by tracking the shoes ,I also noted the lace up on the picture and I think the store laced up the shoes. So the little girl was most likely present when the shoes where bought.. I will try and find all the release dates for that shoe later today ,So far i have 7/05 but she was found in march and est.2001-2004 as to how long she been dead. Also the shoe model number is 306353-01 in case anybody whats to check that out.

Somebody please help. I just tried to call this in to Ohio and the detective who called me back never even heard of the Doe Network...grrr wonder why it's so hard to match these people. I just feel like he thought I was a crazy woman for suggesting she would be found dead in New Jeresy and seemed suspect that I live in Washington State. How can I make sure this gets to someone who will actually check up and see if it's a match????
