SYRACUSE, N.Y. Searchers are looking for a 20-year-old woman who went missing Friday after coming home from college for the Thanksgiving break.
The search will begin again Wednesday morning. Sgt. John DEredita of the Onondaga County Sheriffs Office is asking the public not to form a civilian search because it would interfere with the investigation.

and an interesting comment posted at 4:09pm today (Nov. 23) take it with a grain of salt right now... it's considered *RUMOR*
What did the post say,as I think it has been removed ?
I'm assuming she was on foot? Did they say the last person she spoke to on her cell? Did she tell anyone she was going out for a walk or a jog?
Most girls her age just don't go out of the house without telling someone where they are going whether its the people at the house or someone she was meeting.
I live in the community and detectives were meeting with neighbors but from what they told me, no big leads. I am surprised the media hasn't blown it up like they should. I don't of any like search lines or anyone searching in the miles worth of fields near her home.

"Her phone was turned on today around 12:30," wrote a friend of Watson. "I don't know the exact location, I just know it's near Waterhouse Road and Henry Clay Boulevard. Within a half hour of her phone turning on they were searching. ...Phone's not on anymore, I've tried calling her -- straight to voice mail. It could've been anything, but at least it kind of gives us a lead."

Waterhouse Rd is a large field/farm area not far from several housing developments. We used to party on that road because there are only a couple of houses at one end and no lights or traffic generally, even during the day.
I am really surprised that there hasn't been more media on this missing person's case. Is Jenni-Lyn's family (especially her parent's) working with the media to get the story out?
An idea if the family needs guidance with finding resources and help to work with the media, etc., might be a good family advocate and/or a publicist that specializes in missing persons. Just a thought.
