Thinking about the low bail, all I can come up with is his probable clean criminal record, as far as I know, anyway. I guess that might make a judge think he is a low flight risk.
But honestly...I still do not understand it. Why should anyone charged and indicted for murder of a spouse be allowed to remain free? The evidence must be there, as LE seems very cautious these days in bringing charges.
I especially hope that it can be easily shown that she was killed in the house, as that tumbles down his whole wall of lies about "kissing her in the check when she left" to go
"shopping" for her daughter's dress and HIS surprise gift. Ugh.
I cannot come up with many other such cases where the spouse remained free awaiting trial.
