Maybe when Shannan asked JB if he'd ever had a tranny before, its because she realized Michael Pak was involved with the death of the male tranny...or JB is trying to avert suspicion to Pak but making up this conversation but the convo suggests Shannan knew something

But Pak, the driver, is no tranny, isn't he? And Shannan obviously neither. So how we come to the tranny angle in the fist case. Only because of the Asian male in women's cloths.
 
It is interesting that the issue of Tim Bindner has been brought up during the LISK investigation. The story of the Fairfield PD and Timothy Bindner during the Nikki Campbell investigation serves as a cautionary tale for both Law Enforcement and concerned civilians.

Bindner was the "strongest" (and perhaps only) suspect in the abduction of Nikki and possibly involved in the abduction of other children. But there was no forensic evidence and the circumstantial evidence wasn't all that solid. He was all they had so they decided to “go forward" and crossed a legal "line". A campaign of "pressure" on Bindner culminated in the PD illegally tipping of the press that his house was about to be searched. They were hoping to get Bindner to make a mistake; perhaps try to destroy evidence, flee or perhaps get other people to come forwards with information. Instead, they found nothing and Bindner went public with the claim of harassment. He ended up being portrayed as a victim and won and Million $ settlement. The case was never solved.

It’s a good illustration of why LE withholds information. It is also a good illustration of why we, as "concerned civilians" should refrain from "naming POIs" as the Perp based on conjecture and speculation. There have been many situations where internet rumor and misinformation has caused serious problems for people who were later learned or, worse, never charged or cleared.

The problem here is that many people on this board are assuming all the bodies to be the work of a single killer (and then try to pin it on JB or CPH). In reality the local LEOs (including Suffolk County District Attorney Tom Spota) have confirmed that they are looking for at least THREE different killers. JB was investigated and cleared last December. As the last known person to see SG alive he is obviously a prime suspect and would have been very thoroughly investigated. If he was cleared like he was then it means that there is absolutely no concrete evidence linking him to any of these murders or SG's disappearance.

Some of those bodies have been there along Ocean Parkway for as long as a decade. There isent much evidence to go on. I know for a fact that the Suffolk County Police and the New York State Police are doing all they can to solve these cases, they still have officers working the cases and the last I heard (over the summer) they still had leads to follow. Hopefully there will be a break soon, we are approaching the one year anniversary of the bodies being discovered.

Here, I would be so careful. Whole professional groups are drilled to think in logical connections in form of this happens because that happened before. IT specialists, most MDs, mathematicians and especially also psychologists and there especially forensic psychologists. Look at the language, Prof. Hancock used in the article.

DH and I actually were driving by (as usual) and we pulled into the lot when we saw all of the people. I had no idea what it was until I got off the bike to listen. I took off my helmet and just stood in the back. it was very touching.... :( I hope they have answers soon.

* I think when we first covered this topic I and some others assumed the picture was taken during or after the investigation (post december 2010) I no longer believe this to be the case.

If this picture was indeed taken before December ~10th of 2010, then I think we need to consider the possibility, that the SK was hanging out next to his sanctuary. There aren't any trails or turn-arounds or other reasons why someone (surfer,fisherman,etc) should be parked at this location. To determine where this truck is parked, so you don't have to take my word for it, find it on bing maps (birds eye view), and notice that the truck is just a tad west of the middle mosquito canal that partitions the body of water running east/west. Then cross reference that with any and all maps of the locations of the remains.

I'm inclined to believe that the officer and his dog that found the first remains weren't really on a "training exercise" 5-6 miles away from oak beach and coincidentally happened upon the remains, but may have been acting on information given to them by someone questioned in the investigation. Somebody may have offered up something like, "yeah I've seen so and so parked down on ocean parkway just east of gilgo". SK's are known for revisiting the remains of their victims right?

Wow! What the heck is going on behind that closed gate? Who's involved and who knows about it?
 
I'm really starting to think that there is a lot of LE involvement as well as a lot of political involvement in this case. I also think that a certain top politician knows quite a bit but is being bullied by others not to give it up. They bully him with threats of campaign finance investigations and stuff like that.

I think that MP showed up that night, JB went to get some stuff from a neighbor, showed off his goods, said that he will be done in an hour and who would like to get her next. SG knew one of the Oak Beach gentlemen from previous work and didn't want to be with him that night.

I would love to know of all the phone calls that went back and forth that night. JB phone calls, CPH phone calls, Gus, others, etc.

And who else was involved from LE and the Babylon political establishment. Most of those houses down there are owned by long-standing Babylon political connections. Very interesting stuff for sure. It's going to make a very interesting movie. And we thought it all quieted down after the OBI closed down. Quite the contrary!

I believe the statement he made about law enforcement having cph's phone records showing that he did call the gilbert family weeks before the airing of 48 hours... because it was validated.

Everything he says may not be true, but he did know something that we did not.
