For Jennifer Sherman, her only daughter, every second that goes by without an arrest is too long.

"Every day, every minute is terrible. But fighting for her justice gives me strength every day," said Jennifer Sherman. "She deserves for us to fight for her."

Sherman, speaking publicly for the first time at a rally, says her mother meant everything to her.

"She was beautiful, inside and out. She was my best friend. The most caring, compassionate person I've ever met in my life. She was my soul mate," said Jennifer.


She wants Aliza now to the top priority of the Cleveland Police.


"I'm hoping that whatever needs to be done is being done to bring justice," she said.
 
Oh that's just so much worse :( I hope that there is someone out there that knows something and will tip off the police!

Aliza Sherman's murder is still unsolved, and now her name is at the center of a $2 million lawsuit.

Sanford Sherman, Aliza's estranged husband, is accused of theft and identity fraud in a civil suit filed this week by Jennifer Sherman on behalf of her mother's estate...

The details filed in Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court show a question of $2 million that went missing years before Aliza's murder.

For the first time since her death, Cuyahoga County prosecutors said on Wednesday that Sherman’s murder investigation is “parallel and intertwined” with a bomb threat case. The defendant in the bomb threat case is Sherman’s attorney, Gregory Moore.

Moore’s attorney, Ian Friedman, says his understanding is that some of the evidence in both cases are connected...

Moore is facing three felony charges of inducing panic. He is accused of calling in bomb threats to area courts.

For some reason, I just assumed Moore was Sanford Sherman's attorney. But apparently he was Aliza Sherman's lawyer. Is that right?!

Moore, through his attorney Ian Friedman, has denied any involvement in Sherman's death. He gave a statement to police shortly after the March 24, 2013 stabbing , which happened outside his offices, after he had a meeting with Sherman to prepare for her upcoming divorce trial.

Cleveland police haven't said much about the investigation recently, though they did say certain people were refusing to cooperate with them. They would not name those people.

I'm a local and have been following this case since the beginning as I have dealt with this law firm and her attorney. I'm anxiously awaiting the indictment and I'm on the fence as to whether I think her husband was involved.

It is hard to believe it is now going on 2 years and there have been no arrests made, and very little information released on this case. I live approximately 45 minutes South of this area and use to frequent the Galleria mall. When it first happened I thought they would catch the perpetrator quickly, since it is a busy area, but I evidently not.

My heart aches for her daughter who deserves Justice for this senseless killing!

Bentleyville, Ohio - Family and friends of Aliza Sherman, the Cleveland Clinic nurse fatally stabbed in downtown Cleveland two years ago, gathered for Mother’s Day, hopeful that an arrest in the high-profile case will be made soon.

“It’s terribly frustrating,” said Jan Lash, Aliza’s good friend. “But it is an open investigation. It is moving forward.”

Aliza was heading to her divorce attorney’s office behind the Galleria when she murdered in daylight.

newsnet5.com first reported that there is a person of interest in the case with a grand jury convening to receive evidence from the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s office.
 
Still waiting on any updated news in this case. Earlier this year it appeared the investigators were making progress. Since then, crickets...

Prosecutors accused*Moore of later*lying*to Cleveland police homicide detectives when asked where he was at the time of Sherman's death.
