No updates and the case is oddly quiet. The Holly team is focusing on Holly's case. All of them are stay at home moms or work and their spouses. Their volunteer time is limited.

Frankly, since LE will not call in search teams, it is very difficult for me to attract and put together teams of volunteers and train them. I'm working on it but the resources available to me are limited. It takes me the better part of a day to train a team in search tactics and how not to contaminate evidence.
 
Now add Jessica Padgett to this list. She has gone missing now far from these cases.
 
Latest word I have is that Jamie was reported to have been last seen in Allentown by more than one individual, not Easton.

This may put Jamie, Jessica and Holly in the same general area within 5-10 miles.

God bless you for feeling a sense of ownership and responsibility for this case. I am not a professional and I have no idea what's going on behind the scenes, but I find it strange how very quiet some of these cases are.
 
Sadly Jessica was found, dead. Her step-father admitted to killing her. I know Jamie personally though. Several of us who had been her friends for many years have been trying to get some attention to this case. However, we are only friends and most of us lost regular contact with Jamie over the last few years because of her lifestyle. Her mother is disabled, she has had several strokes and can not do to much to help. Jamies children are safe, they are with family, but her siblings have been of little help. It seems nobody really cares that she is just gone. We (friends) have contacted the local news, CNN, and the police. There has been little to no interest. Anyone with any ideas to help, please let me know. Thanks, Lacey

There ARE people who care.
I know in Holly Grim's case, unless there was an update the media was less inclined to run her story repeatedly.
Holly has a Facebook page. "Praying for Holly" Maybe contact/message the admins of the page for tips.

laceyr, If you think you can put together 10 or more people, I will come up and train you in ground searching and how to deal with suspected evidence. PM me.
 
Thank you for joining us here, Lacey. WE care. I would follow the advice about starting a FB page for her. As more people join the page, and share it, the more the info gets out, and the more people may show up with additional info. Also, I read that she was last known to be in the company of a gentleman named Carl? I think. If there's any way someone can find out info on him- his last name, a FB page, anything, it may give the police substantial info to go on. Is it known what bars she was frequenting? Flyers posted at these bars, and interviewing employees and regular patrons may provide a world of evidence. Such as, what were her habits there? How often was she there, who was she hanging out with? Most people probably have no idea she's even missing, because there's been almost no publication of it.

This reminds me a lot of Michelle Knight. No one looked for her, they just assumed she'd run away. The entire time, she was nearby, kept prisoner in a monster's house.
 
She was last known to be with Carl. The police have all of that information. Like I said, most of her friends had lost contact. Jamie was well known to drink heavily and had become very dependent on pain meds, most likely other drugs as well. She was last talked to in April by her mom. She was not reported mossing till September. I as well as her other friends had no idea it had been so long untill October. Many of us had fallings out with her because of the drinking and drugs. We can not get a clear reason she was not reported sooner. We have been sharing all over FB and a couple of us have spoke with the police.
 
Don't give up laceyr. Sounds like Jamie needs her friends and family more than ever.
Also sounds like you could be her hope. Maybe one last chance. Seems you know, no one is so lowly that they deserve to be forgotten.

Jamie went into NamUs with a LSA date of September 11 but today April 12, is one year that she has been missing.

I just came here to post that article as I ran it across it on Facebook. I remember seeing Jamie on FB back when they first publicized it but nothing since. That same thing stuck out to me as well as odd? Ugh. So sad.

I'm focused on the call between her and her sister when she asked her sister why she called her boyfriend and the sister replied she didn't.

I think it is absolutely detrimental to this case that LE find out the identity and whereabouts of the man in the photo on Jamie's Facebook page.
 
After looking at some aerial maps, I've identified two areas of particular interest that may be worth searching:

Area one is heading west (?) away from New Tripoli on Hwy 143 heading towards Leaser Lake. The area I am most interested in has the perimeters of Hwy 143/Brobst Hill Road/Quarry.

Area two of interest is closer to Leaser Lake with the perimeters of Springhouse/Swamp Road/Saw Mill Road/Rt. 719. A tight little square of an area.

Finally, if you head back towards New Tripoli on Springhouse Road, right where Springhouse & 309 intersect there is a Hartman's Butcher shop. That is interesting for the obvious reason. I wonder if the Perp has any connection to that place at all.
These are the areas I would look at after my aerial review, but of course this is an amateur attempt so take it for what it's worth!
