Okay, latest is this video here, that I can find.

I'll hear when he gets on the plane via radio, but any posters in the UK might hear before that, on TV. Please update us if you do!

Dewani will be taken straight to a mental health facility in SA, to be assessed to see if he is fit to stand trial. He has been living in a mental health facility in the UK this whole time, so I'm really not convinced doctors in SA will say he is fit enough.

The video of Anni's family speaking is very moving. They want this to be about Anni, at last. They are very calm and non judgemental.

I believe he is going straight to Valkenberg, that right there is hell on earth in itself! If he had stayed to face the music or come back when he was supposed to, I might have thought different but all these delaying tactics and no one any nearer to closure makes him guilty as sin in my books!

It is a puzzle re motive because it has been reported in the UK that he broke of an engagement to another women in order to have a relationship with Anni. So if it was cultural/religious pressures only he could have stayed with the other woman. There are various other reports re his failing care home business,plus sexual issues. Sorry I don't have links as these have been random reports during the past 3 years.

Shrien Dewani 'was taken from Fromeside hospital....to the City's airport by officers from the Metropolitan Police Extradition Unit'

South African representatives flew over to 'greet' Dewani and escort him back, apparently. he is expected to appear at Western Cape High Court tomorrow. Keep your eyes and ears open, SA friends!

At some point this morning, the court appearances of Oscar Pistorius and Shrien Dewani are going to coincide. Dewani's appearance is likely to be very brief though, I'd think.

I agree, more like a formality. It will more than likely be remanded until after he has been sent for medical observation.
 
Wow, Anni's Blackberry has finally been cracked, the Mail reports (why did it take so long?).

She sent a msg to her cousin saying she and Shien were having sex a lot - not surprising for a honeymoon couple but maybe has implications for the prosecutors assertions the couple were very unhappy and Dewani arranged Anni's killing because he was gay?
