Hi BeavisMom62! Welcome to WS. We are continuing the discussion of Princess Blue both here at WS and at SKM. We'd be happy to have you join us at both locations!

will there be a fourth thread or will this be continued over at Somoneknowsme? I haven't been there yet or registered. I'm still learning my way around WS! Thank you.

Thanks for the welcome! I've enjoyed so much being a lurker but am looking forward to contributing something, if not here, then hopefully elsewhere. I'd had contributions on other cases, but unfortunately by the time I could post, you guys (of course) had already figured it out.

Welcome, BeavisMom:). We would love to hear your thoughts or ideas about Princess Blue. When this thread grows to have 400-500 posts or so, we will close it, leave a link at the end for the new site, and leave a link on the 1st post of the new site for this thread.

Hi diamondgirl. I think that somewhere in all these threads on Princess Blue Elizabeth Campbell's sister stated that she did not believe Princess Blue is her sister Elizabeth. I can't recall all of the details on why she didn't believe Princess Blue to be Elizabeth. I will see what I can come up with.

Im sure someone has already suggested this woman, but just in case (Ive read all the posts before, but I just can't do it again. LOL)

What about Elizabeth Campbell. She went missing in 1988. She should be 39 now. She is 5'2". Her age progressed photo doesn't look like princess blue but the other one kind of does. She has wide and high cheek bones. She is asian and white. Oh and shes from TX.

I hope her sister didn't think it wasn't her due to the composite. I just thought that her being Asian and White, may have been the reason for the confusion of Princess Blue's race.

Thinking of you this Holiday Season.

Heidi, welcome to the Princess Blue thread:). Originally, it was believed that Princess Blue weighed about 175LB in life based on her HS ring size of 9 1/2. However, a few months ago a team of forensics specialists determined that she most likely did not weigh 175. In fact we cannot rule out anyone based on any weight.

Also, she had on a a Robert E. Lee, Houston, high school ring. The lady in the myspace graduated from Robert Lee HS(not Robert E. Lee) in Robert Lee, TX. It was confusing for us at first because we learned there were a number Robert E. Lee high schools all over the country and in Texas. Gosh, last year I emailed a slew of Robert E. Lee, San Antonio alumni by accident! I got some good info from one of the students, though.

I have very slow dial-up, and it takes about ten minutes just to load the first myspace page. And, I don't know how to research on myspace. Can you research 1975 Robert E. Lee High School, Houston, TX alumni on myspace? Some of our members have researched in the past, but you never know what might be out there at this point.

Ok ya i will search that LOL didnt realize how many there were. so was that ring made for only that one school or was it made for all the robert e lee schools? i have dsl so mine goes a little quicker. thank god lol, i am too impatient for dial up

Each high school contracts their choice of hs ring makers. So, yes that ring was made for only that school. Here is a pic of the actual ring found on Princess Blue. You can see that it reads, "Houston" on it. And, Princess Blue was found in Man, TX, which is in the Houston, metro area.

your welcome, i will get started on this one here in a few. thanks for updating me =o) someone has got to know she is, people dont just come and disappear w/ out no one knowing who they are or that they are missing. especially that close to home

Question: Since the male and female rings from the time (75) were almost the same (not like today where the females are smaller) could it be possible that the ring is a males and not a females after all (since it was originally a large ring size?) Perhaps the ring could have been a males who the unidentified cared about so they wore it?

Hi Angel4Alpha,

We came to the conclusion quite awhile back that the ring found on Princess Blue was a female's ring. The band for a male's ring was much thicker than the female band. Also, as some stated, they were petite in weight and yet they still wore a larger ring size.

Thanks RKnowley- do you know offhand if these have been checked?

http://www.doenetwork.org/cases/115dftx.html petite and last seen by her husband in 1978 and has a couple aliases so may have had a different name when still in high school

http://www.doenetwork.org/cases/401dftx.html age right for her own ring - height right and from texas

http://www.doenetwork.org/cases/93dftx.html long shot but from texas and the age is right for it to be her own ring possibly

http://www.doenetwork.org/cases/475dftx.html hispanic/houston could have been her ring

Angel,
Wanda might be a possible for Princess Blue. The last 3 you listed would be too old to be Princess Blue. Princess Blue was between 16 and 21 (or 22?) when she died.

Thanks RKnowley- do you know offhand if these have been checked?

IMO it is time for a new composite.

For years before I actually sat down and read into this case more, I thought Princess Blue was black.
