The Jury

They could have been laughing about anything though and considering they can't talk about the case I don't believe it was about Lee.

Kathy Belich did not imply that they were laughing at Lee. She just found it odd, I guess, that they would laugh right after his sad testimony.

I agree that we shouldn't give too much weight to such things. I remember reporters commenting about jurors looking bored during the state's presentation in the scott peterson trial. He's on death row now!

Yeah, I remember that being said about the SP trial. You just never know what a juror thinks or how they will go.

Oh, but I think we can make a strong guess what these jurors are thinking and which way they'll go.

IMO she will be found guilty. Too soon to say which all charges she will be found guilty on, but if the defense continues along the same lines it has, it is likely to be all of them.

FWIW, I think my contenders for foreman/woman are Jurors 1, 8, and 11....

Imagine if the jury asks for a read-back of any testimony during their deliberations, we here at WS, along with the TH's on TV, will go Wild, Bonkers, trying to read into it and figure out where they are heading! Oh, what a long wait it will seem until they return with their verdict! Wonder if they will ask for any videos or audios to be replayed????

Well, that moment is here! The waiting begins....

With all of the media references to juror X & juror Y, I wanted to centralize what general facts we know about each juror. This is NOT a thread for attempting to specifically identify any jury member. Rather, it's about providing a framework in which we can discuss members of the jury and their potential predispositions to the facts of the case.

Do you remember which juror was the one that is going on vacation? Was he a juror or alternate? (I'm blind by now and lacking sleep, and I don't see it on this fabulous piece of work)

I think that is Jury #7.

FWIW, I think my contenders for foreman/woman are Jurors 1, 8, and 11....

I definitely think it will be #11 from everything we have heard. He seems to be a strong personality. BTW, thank you for this thread and all the hard work you have put into it.

Kathi Belich said Juror #3 claimed she never heard of this case. Is she the one the talking heads on In Session were speculating that she was a stealth juror? I believe the one they thought was stealth said someone commented to her about it on facebook and she mentioned wanting to be on a case of this magnitude which made them think she wasn't being honest about not hearing about this case.

One of the commentators on In Session today also said they thought #11 was a good candidate for foreman. She said that if it's him, she thinks deliberations will be quicker and pretty efficient. I laughed because he's the gym teacher and I just pictured him standing in the deliberation room with a whistle and a stopwatch....LOL:)

Jean Casarez reports jury was dressed up again today.

Women who regularly wore sneakers were in dress shoes today.

Expectation of a verdict???
